Gambrinus Hotel

Pros: We stayed 3 nights. Got complimentary upgraded to a twin room. Thanks to the hotel team for that! Great location. A little away from the city, but easy to get to by bus 63, 83, 80. The area is safe and clean. There is a bakery right next to the hotel with great canolies. Also a restaurant across the road was great. Hotel itself is well kept, maintained and clean. Im not giving 10 just due to the bad sewage smell that constantly came from tbe bathroom. But, hey, its Rome, plumbing is probably ancient :) Room was nice. Beds were firm, but thats the way I like it. My friend was a little uncomfortable, but after walking 20 plus thousands steps every day we could fall asleep on the floor. Breakfast had plenty of choices and some variety on different days, so you are not stuck with same choice for 3 days. Food was tasty.

Cons: All was great but the sewage smell from the bathroom

Pros: The room was quite nice, even though we had an economy one. We were also lucky to have a balcony, which was a nice bonus. The location was very good as well—it felt very safe and wasn’t far from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain.

Pros: I stayed alone, although the room was spacious enough for two people. The facilities were very good, including a coffee machine, kettle, and bathroom amenities etc. The room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, so I had no problems sleeping at night. There are cafes, restaurants and mini markets around the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would recommend it. PS: The room was ready when I arrived, so they kindly let me check in early. I really appreciated it.

Cons: The location is a little bit far from the city center. Termini Station is about a 15–16 minute walk away. I generally walked everywhere, but there are also bus stops around the hotel if you prefer to use public transport.

For Rome being such a bustling city, having a lovely peaceful room to go back to is amazing.

Pros: All members of staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very quiet and peaceful. Modern tv with YouTube and Netflix. Good WiFi. Shower and bathroom were exceptional. Lots of options at breakfast and food was nice. Amazing cafes and bakeries on the same street.

Comfortable stay, great area, good price, excellent staff at breakfast

Pros: welcoming staff, room was relatively small but very well designed to optimise space, very clean and beautifully decorated. Good breakfast, made excellent by the kind and upbeat staff

Cons: the lobby area is small and can put you off a bit at first, but the quality of the rooms and breakfast make up for it!

Pros: Room was clean albeit a bit small but I knew that. Staff were fantastic. Overall a good stay.

Cons: The hot breakfast was cold 'ish but maybe it's an Italian thing.

Great Hotel at an excellent location!

Pros: The Hotel was perfect for our 4 day holiday in Rome. The facilities and the service were great, and the room was spacious and clean. The location is excellent, close to many attractions with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The area has several options for tasty yet affordable breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Comfortable stay in a lovely hotel

Pros: The single room was small but perfect. The bed was really comfortable and the toiletries were appreciated. The hotel was in a lovely location and we went to the recommended restaurant across the road which was lovely.

Pros: The staff were very accommodating as best they could and warm, friendly and welcoming

Cons: There could have been more access to milk for a cuppa tea
