Hotel San Remo

A lovely hotel in a terrific location

Pros: Within five minute walk of the main railway station and several nice restaurants as well as the Metro station for getting around Rome. Clearly the hotel has been significantly refurbished recently and our room and the approach to it were absolutely fabulous – beautifully decorated and appointed in great taste.

Cons: It would have been nice if there had been a lounge

A clean, comfortable, well located hotel.

Pros: Clean and comfortable and newly renovated room, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast (in motel next door) and excellent location near Roma Termini.

Cons: They are currently renovating and you had to go into the next door motel for breakfast

All was perfect

Pros: All was fine - even considering the Hotel have a renovation on going. All close to the hotel, 5 in to Treminii, 3 min to Maria Madgorie Church - lots of restaurants, bars and Carrefour in closed area.

Pros: Close to metro and main tourist attractions. Lots of eateries nearby.

Cons: Under renovation, but they accommodated with us being able to access breakfast and coffee at their sister hotel next door. No extra folding luggage racks available.

Excellent location, friendly and professional staff. I will definitely stay here again.

Pros: The location - near to Termini train station - is great - to have trains, buses and Metro nearby is very useful. The room was very quiet and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Cons: Renovation work

Pros: I am not sure we booked such a room, but the one we got was huge. The hotel was probably renovated a short time ago (some renovation is still ongoing on the ground floor), so the room was very modern, absolutely clean and functional. The breakfast was in the neighbough hotel just about 10 m away, was really excellent with a lot of choice. Overall was a great value for the money. It is necessary to mention that the location is excellelent - very close to the Roma Termini station, a 10-15 m walking distance from Roman forum, a couple of minutes walking to St. Maria Maggiore and the Church in the former Dioclecian baths.

Pros: The location was great for the Termini train station. Plenty to see close by. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish and very quiet at night. Very good choice for breakfast served at the hotel next door because of the renovations.

Cons: Just one of those things, it happens - renovation work and noise started at 8 the morning. Was not a big problem for me - not much time spent in the hotel when you’re on holiday or in transit

Nice and comfortable hotel near Termini.

Pros: The room was recently refurbished and very modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. Because of the refurbishment, we were offered breakfast in a hotel next door which was very good. I therefore cannot comment on the breakfast offered by this hotel itself. The location is extremely close to Termini but in a quiet street.

I put up with it? Staff were nice. Breakfast 3 doors down the road was good.

Pros: Room was refurbished and it looked great. Spacious for Rome.

Cons: Tepid showers borderline cold, to be honest. Horrible given its winter. First room heard drilling nonstop literally all day. The room we were moved to was as right under the biker rom so it sounded like clanging chains constantly. Not cool.

Nice, decent value, clean hotel with lovely staff in a great, central location in central Rome

Pros: Nice comfortable hotel, great location, lovely, helpful staff. Decent breakfast.

Cons: There was a bit of loud drilling in the corridor near my room when I arrived but it stopped early evening.
