A very poetic and functionnal place in one of the most beautiful areas of Rome

Pros: Very practical: it’s a small appartment under the roof. There’s everything. The decoration of the appartment and the house is really nice, it feels like a theater. Antonella is extremely kind and helpfull. The aera is amazing: the heart of Garbatella. A sort of Berlin life in one of the oldest very typical Rome. A beautiful area, authentic and very poetic. Several very cool bars around. And if you want a place not full of people but with a nice social life, this is ideal.

Cons: Honestly i found everything nice.

Overall, a good stay

Pros: The room was clean and had everything one might need. The interesting decoration and esthetic of the room makes it a pleasant environment to live in. Garbatella is a very beautiful residential neighborhood of Rome and well connected to the center.

Cons: Wouldn't recommend to tall people or if you're not at least a bit flexible. The room is in the attic and sometimes the ceiling is too low, or there are narrow spaces with steps, as well as the long pipe that separates the bedroom from the rest of the room (as can be seen in the pictures).

Un'esperienza immersiva in Garbatella

Pros: Arredato con gusto, ricco di ornamenti e ambiente molto caldo, sia in senso letterale che figurato. B&B al primo piano di una villetta multifamiliare, ingresso condiviso con il proprietario. Letto matrimoniale mansardato comodo; Bagno raggiungibile con tre scalini in discesa. Cucina/salotto dotata di frigorifero, micro-onde, macchina caffè e piastra elettrica. Ho trovato il tutto molto pulito.

Cons: C'è qualche difficoltà logistica, legata a scale, scalini irregolari, travi a vista e salto ad ostacoli per il letto… ma fa parte dell'esperienza. Non lo consiglierei a persone con problemi di mobilità o alte sopra 170cm.

Pros: Espaço diferente, decoração bem inusitada, mas deixa um atmosférica diferente de um quarto usual. A anfitriã é bem atenciosa e deixou tudo certo, o banho é bem gostoso.

Cons: Quarto um pouco quente e o ar condicionado um pouco fraco, a barra de ferro na entrada do quarto atrapalha a movimentação.

Atmosfere da mansarda per un soggiorno fortunato

Pros: Appartamentino particolarissimo per chi ama l’atmosfera delle mansarde, con le loro belle travi antiche e tanto legno. La camera da letto ha anche un funzionale lucernario e il tutto è accessoriatissimo, oltre che per difendersi dal caldo e dal freddo, anche sotto il profilo delle prese elettriche, del mobilio e delle dotazioni: a disposizione dell’ospite nella cucina ci sono il frigo (con acqua minerale), merendine e cornetti per la prima colazione, macchina espresso, cialde, zucchero, accessori, bollitore, microonde… Poi, bagno di gran gusto con doccia molto grande e abbondante dotazione di shampoo, saponi e docciaschiuma. Host gentilissima (ha anche anticipato l’orario del check-in rispetto a quello ufficiale per agevolarmi).

Cons: Non è un vero difetto; semplicemente ritengo che questa soluzione non sia adatta per ospiti molto anziani o con limiti alla mobilità: ci sono infatti barriere architettoniche e gradini molto ripidi, oltre al rischio di picchiare la testa nelle travi (bellissime) se non si cammina chini in alcune parti della stanza.

Pros: Posto molto caratteristico accogliente e caldo La proprietaria è una signora molto premurosa e gentile

Cons: La posizione un po scomoda a piedi per arrivare alla Metro

Unique stay in a cosy historic home

Pros: Cosy, tastefully decorated attic in a historic house full of character. The place was spotlessly clean and spacious with fast wifi and a microwave, fridge, and kettle for cooking. The host was very kind and we made it work despite language barriers. She left packaged pastries, yogurt and bottled water for breakfast at check-in for the whole stay. The neighbourhood of Garbatella (100 years old!) was quiet, with supermarkets and inexpensive food in walking distance; you could really experience a local area of Rome.

Cons: I enjoyed my stay so these are not really complaints, just things to inform future travellers: - Being in an old wooden house there is zero soundproofing. When others talk, it’s as if they are in the room with you. One night someone talked until past midnight. - As it’s in someone’s home your check-in and check-out times are limited, and there was no place to keep luggage. Not suitable if you arrive early or stay in the city after check-out or need flexibility. - Cooking options are limited to microwave and kettle.

Caratteristico B&B nel cuore della Garbatella

Pros: B&B esattamente come da descrizione, situato in buona posizione per le mie esigenze e facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici. Proprietaria molto disponibile e cordiale.

Pros: Ambiente raccolto, intimo ed accogliente. Posizione in un quartiere stupendo la Garbatella. Situato vicino alla famosa bottiglierie dei Cesaroni.

Pros: la zona Garbatella è molto affascinante, è come fare un giro turistico anche per andare a prendere la metro per come sono caretteristici i suoi edifici
