California hotel stay

Pros: Great location right across the road from the train station.

Cons: Tram line is outside hotel a bit noisy but it did not wake us up during the night last tram is about 12am

Enjoyable, reasonably priced!

Pros: Very close to Termini. Lots of nice restaurants in the surrounding streets. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. A bit hectic depending on the time you go down! No complaints! Have stayed there a few times now and more than happy to stay again!😀

Cons: The lift could’ve been bigger. But workable!

It was nice

Pros: We had only one night as we arrived from airport and next day departures by train to another city. So first of all - great location, 5 minutes by walk from Termini main entrance, lots of cafe in few steps from hotel. Nice staff who helped us with accommodation for our 6 people team:) we stayed at on one room with 2 bedrooms and one with one bedroom. It was clean, warm and comfortable

I recommend California hotel. Staff offered an umbrella when needed and got breakfast ready 6:00 am

Pros: Room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast included fruit, yogurt, hot food and the location was excellent, next to Termini station and very near Santa Maria Maggiore

Very nice hotel, well priced, and great location for getting round Rome

Pros: The proximity to Termini Station is very useful, from where it is easy to use the Metro in all directions. Also it's a short walk to the Colosseum and Forum. The included breakfast was very welcome and varied. The staff were friendly, and to my shame spoke excellent English, in contrast to my poor Italian. Also there is a small, unpretentious but excellent restaurant called Ristorante Alfredo one block away, the food is amazing!

Cons: Nothing I can think of to complain about. The breakfast area is a bit cramped, but that's mainly the fault of thoughtless bumbling hungry guests.

Pros: Hotel California’s location is superb, close to Termini Station, for example. It is also easy to the spot the building unlike a few other B&Bs/Hotels in the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast is good too with sweet and savoury options. They also had a document printed for me. Overall, highly recommend the place.
