Hotel Orlanda

Friendly staff, great location, quiet rooms

Pros: The hotel has a great location, very close to Rome Termini station, making it easy to access. Despite its central location, our room was very quiet (facing an inner courtyard). The staff were really exceptional - everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the reception desk to the breakfast room attendant. We were able to store our bags at reception after we checked out and were also able to benefit from complementary croissants and coffee upon our arrival/departure. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Perfect Perfect

Pros: The breakfast was more than adequate , the staff were really very helpful indeed. The location was easy for arrival from Airport and ideal for walking to anywhere you could possibly wish. In 4 days you can see Trevi Spanish Steps Vatican City Capitoline Hill Colosseum and more free Churches and Piazzas and Gardens than you can shake a stick at. Rome itself is a romantic location , a very reasonably priced excellently located hotel with fantastic staff does not need a buzz word “ romantic “. We loved it and will certainly return some day and have strongly recommended it to our extended family and friends.

Cons: For the price ? Absolutely nothing!!

Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location, a short walk from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and Termini station. There are also restaurants around the hotel and a large supermarket nearby.

Pros: A very short walk from the station, ideal for a first night landing in Rome. Very good instructions to the address and to access the building (I was arriving late). The room was perfectly fine and comfortable, good facilities, lots of restaurants around the area.

Pros: It was clean and safe, and the staff were prompt and friendly. However, the location was a bit chaotic, so I didn't feel like going out much at night. I was touched by the birthday cake they gave out at breakfast.

It was okay! Centrally located and gets it done but not sure if I really ever felt like a guest.

Pros: Helpful staff. Cleaning every day if requested. Very close to Termini Station. Central location. Price was medio. Gladly helped print documents after several requested times. There is a free coffee machine but I think that is to be expected in Italian hotels.

Cons: I did not have the breakfast. It was / is 2 floors up. The croissants in lobby didn’t stock on weekends it seemed only the week day. Felt a bit missed out on but may have been best regardless as I’m Not sure how healthy they are. Outlets did not work in room for my MacBook charger. I’m not sure I saw any other guests at the hotel when there which was strange to me. The downstairs regular hotel type of lobby is not existing as this hotel is located in a building with several other hotels. Lobby is upstairs and small. Helpful staff. Not sure the security of the front door, but they did require a key to get in upstairs as well.

Pros: The location is very close to the station, and the hotel staff were very friendly, which made the stay feel warm and welcoming.

Cons: The bathroom is indeed quite small, but considering the convenient location and reasonable room rate, it’s a minor issue that doesn’t affect the overall experience.

Pros: The location of the lovely Orlanda Hotel is within walking distance from Roma Termini Stazione. Many thanks to Marco for his hospitality! I was able to drop off my bag as I arrived much earlier than planned. He was kind enough to allow me to check in earlier, once a room was ready. Having worked in hospitality previously, I know this is not always possible so I was very grateful for his help. The room faced the inner courtyard and though it was Rome, which is as busy of a city as a main European city can be, I slept well and I'm a light sleeper. The room was gorgeous, the bed and pillows very comfortable. My only wish is that I could have stayed more days instead of a short overnight stay. Bathroom had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was also very good. Hotel Orlanda is also within walking distance to the beautiful Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore and within easy reach to many other iconic Roman locations as well.

Cons: I did not dislike anything.
