Perfect for Short Duration Stays

Pros: The size of the room, location and the building itself, where you can feel safe in the core of Rome. Proximity to good restaurants and key tourist attractions. Staff was helpful in supporting modified checkout times and instructions were clear.

Very good place to stay.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at House Monti 1875, 3 minutes from the Colosseum. The rooms were cleaned daily, the welcome and check-in were pleasant and attentive.

Cons: A bit noisy early in the morning.

Pros: Nice apartment in a wonderful location in Monti with a view of the Colusseum. Small apartment but good bed and a fine sofa bed. Easy check-in and check-out.

Pros: Excellent location in Monti area, close to Colosseum and metro station.

Cons: Confusing communication by owners. First requesting a specific check-in time, and communicating extra fees for earlier or later check-in, because “check-in is by appointment only”. Later it becomes clear that they send entry codes for the building and the appartement, making all other communication redundant.

I would definitely recommend it!

Pros: The apartment is just outside the Colosseum and this made our 1 day trip very easy to explore the surrounding sightseeings. It’s a small, cozy apartment. It has shampoo in the bathroom, clean towels and a blow dryer. The hostess was also very kind and helpful. The woman who cleans the room was also very kind: she let us leave our luggage an hour before our check in.
