Fantastic stay. Totally recommend.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay in this guest house.. from entry the accommodation it was very deceiving. We had 2 rooms booked, a double room and a single room. Both rooms were nice,clean and cosy. Showers were excellent, and the beds were top class. The single room shower is separate from the room, just across the way. It worked out perfect. The place is spotless and clean, staff are friendly and helpful, will definitely come bk here again accommodation is only a 5 min walk to the Roma termini. This is where you can pick up all the hop on bus tours and a 2 min walk to a metro. Also, a 14 min walk to the colleseum, etc. The accommodation is right across from the Marion major basilica where pope fancies is in tombed. Nice shops and restaurants in the area.

Cons: I did speak to the owners, and they are refurbishing the apartments shortly. The single room shower head was loose, nicer shower gels etc. It would also be nice if they had smart tvs so guets can watch there own phones.

Good for the value of the money

Pros: I like the position of the property as it’s easier to move around in Rome.

Cons: I feel like it’s smaller than seen in pictures

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Portafortuna. The room was extremely clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping done thoroughly and consistently, which really made a difference. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is right next to the Santa Maria Maggiore and metro station, making it extremely convenient to get around the city, and it is also only a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. The staff deserves special praise: always polite, attentive, and genuinely willing to help. From check-in to check-out, communication was smooth and professional, and I always felt well taken care of. Overall, this hotel delivers exactly what a traveler expects: cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding service. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Small hotel in a very busy road

Pros: It is well located, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was hot water in the toilet. There was one of the receptionist who was extremely kind, helpfull and nice

Cons: Unfortunately the location in a busy road make the nights noisy, if you are sensitive to noises while sleeping this hotel may dissapoint you. Cleanniness in the bathroom could be improved

Good accommodation close to Termini

Pros: Location near Termini was perfect for going to the airport, room was clean and had free coffee, water and a minifridge. Bathroom had all the amenities including toiletries, towels. Beds in the triple bedroom were large single beds and very comfy. Room has an AC unit and also a heater. Instructions for the check-in were easy to follow. Overall, the room was very comfortable. Staff were nice but I would suggest communicating very well in advance if you need to leave your luggage before check-in.

Cons: Street is noisy but OK with earplugs. Shower head was a bit unstable. To keep in mind there's one flight of stairs before the accommodation.

Very decent stay close to all the sites and the train station.

Pros: Mostly the location and the luggage storage was great.

Cons: We had to climb stairs with luggage and AC was not strong enough.

Pros: I stayed here for a few nights and everything was spot on. Clean room, comfy bed, and a quiet location. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. I really felt welcome. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: As I read the reviews, there are some black spots in the bathroom that are probably mold, but no exaggeration, it is noisy if you stay with the window open at night, but if you close it it is ok. Cleaning was done daily, towels changed daily, water brought daily, coffee capsules daily, etc. The internet worked 7 out of 10, but anyway we didn't stay in the room long enough to be relevant. To sum up, good area almost everything 10 minutes walk, super ok room for the price, we had no problems with the hosts, we checked in earlier than 3:00 PM because they had availability, they are flexible, we left our luggage after check out.

Great

Pros: The location is great, 7 mins walk to rome termini. Also have supermarket nearby. It's really valuable that i have my own single room and private toilet(just outside across the alley) with this price. Toilet is clean, have nespresso, air conditioner is working.

Cons: It's located at the first floor(2F), need to carry luggage. But it's ok!
