Had a great stay I would certainly book again
Pros: The property is in a fantastic location. Plenty of restaurants in the vacinity. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: Second bed in the room was a fold out camp bed which wasn’t very comfortable.

Pros: The lady on the front desk was so helpful, friendly, and just had a really good mood about her. The accommodation is in an excellent location, and we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony/terrace with a wonderful view of the city streets and of the colloseum. Our room was spacious, more than generous in size, clean, and modern. We would definitely return to this hotel if we head back to Rome.
Cons: We went for breakfast to be included in our stay, which is run by a separate cafe down the road. The cafe is in a little square and offers ham, cheese, bread, pastry, and yoghurt. No variation and the amount is more than enough to fill you up past lunchtime, but I wish we went out and searched for breakfast locally because the same every morning got a bit tedious. But this is not a poor reflection on the hotel or cafe, just a personal choice.

Great location and great room!
Pros: Incredible location, very walkable distances to major attractions and enough options nearby for food. Staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us great suggestions for the entire city. Hotel room was smaller than the images but was more than enough for a family of 4, with an amazing terrace with a little view of the Colosseo. Room was very clean. The reception, the actual room and the breakfast, are in 3 different locations, with less than a minute walking from each other, which is no problem.
Cons: Elevator to get to the room is small, since the building was old and elevator is added later to the existing space. In the shower there is only a fixed shower head, a hand-held would be really useful.

A real Italian experience!
Pros: Beautiful authentic BnB in an awesome location. Highly recommend. 15 min walk into city centre. Surrounded by lots of great restaurants, attractions and cute cobblestone streets nearby. Would go there again.

Great location to walk to landmarks and tours.
Pros: We only had a quick 2 night stay and we loved the location, facilities were good, the staff were very helpful and breakfast in the square was lovely.
Cons: Street noise at night was something we are not used to but was to be expected in the city.

Central, spacious and clean.
Pros: It was central to everything, close to the train station. The receptionist was lovely. The room was quite spacious for the four of us. It was clean and was also cleaned daily by housekeeping. Rome was very hot and the room stayed cool.

Central but not over-crowded, perfectly clean
Pros: Il Covo BB was perfect, It’s in an excellent location, almost everything is within walking distance. If you don’t feel like walking, the metro is just 4 minutes away, and there are plenty of bus lines nearby as well. With the B&B option, breakfast is served in a bar about a 7-minute walk away, a refreshing stroll. The bar is located on a charming square with a small fountain, and it’s popular with locals, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. The room was fully equipped, it had a safe, a fridge, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. Everything was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was provided daily. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Thick curtains ensured the room stayed dark in the morning, which was a nice touch. One thing: there is no lift, for our room we had to go up appr. 15 stairs with the luggage but there was a groundfloor room too.
Cons: The only thing I personally found a bit uncomfortable was the city noise at night, but that’s entirely due to where I’m coming from, as I’m used to complete silence. Naturally, staying in the heart of the city means more urban sounds, but I’d like to stress that this is not the fault of the accommodation. In fact, the windows were modern and sound-insulated, which certainly helped reduce the noise.
