we are happy to return

Pros: The location, unique style, the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness were all excellent. It's not a big hotel, so it was very quiet, despite being in the city center, just 1 minute from the metro station.

Cons: Compared to the general standard of the hotel, the only slightly negative experience was the lack of variety at breakfast and the poor selection of fresh pastries.

clean ,comfortable, warm and welcoming

Pros: Breakfast was excellent with an extensive range of delicious breakfast items. All food was freshly cooked and baked and all the breakfast area was pristine and clean. The lady looking after the guests was attentive, friendly and courteous without being intrusive. The location is on the Vatican side of the river so within easy walking distance. The Trevi fountain and all other tourist sights can be accessed by walking but the tube is minutes away from the Hotel. tickets are cheap and the journey is quick and easy to navigate. The room was clean and kept refreshed with towels and supplies etc. The bed was enormous and there was a spacious wardrobe, desk and chair. The bathroom in our room had a bath/shower large sink toilet, bidet and was beautiful.

Cons: Loved our hotel the only thing missing was a kettle in the room however we are sure if we had asked one would have been provided.

Pros: It was located in a very nice residential neighbourhood where there were very good restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Lepanto metro station is about 50m from the hotel. This metro station is right between the Vatican and the Spanish Steps. The breakfast was also very good with very tasty pastry offerings. The room was spacious and very quiet with very comfy beds.

Cons: The hotel shows its age.

All together it is a lovely place ,great location, beautiful roof terrace where we get the breakfast and supernice staff.

Pros: It is a nice hotel with great location, very nice staff. The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. It is clean and we got good bathroom products.the staff was very helpful and kind

Cons: The breakfast should have better bakery and a bit more healthy options.the bakery was very bad unfortunately (especially considering that we were in Italy). It would be good to have more veggies and juices and also proper eggs(not from powder)The hotel was not renovated for a while but it is still very clean but I guess a renovation will be needed in a few years .

Pros: Great location in a beautiful residential area of Rome. The hotel is very close to the metro and close to some major attractions of the city. Great breakfast was provided every morning on a beautiful rooftop terrace from which the dome of St. Peter's Basilica was visible. Staff was also helpful and friendly.

Cons: The triple room was somewhat small and did not have its own balcony.

Over night in Roma

Pros: The location is fantastic - in a residential area and close to a great shopping street and the river/tourist attractions. The roof terrace is beautiful, and the staff are helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend the balcony rooms.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.

Old and classic hotel at a nice and safe neighborhood with only a few steps to metro station.

Pros: Breakfast was simple but very good. The lady serving the breakfast was very nice lady. Location very near metro easy to go anywhere. Price was good compared to other hotels.

Cons: Electric kettle should be made available and free for any guest who stays and requested it. It is quite an essential needs for many of us. The TV perhaps can be upgraded.

We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Beautiful classic old world furnishings. Gorgeous wood work, marble reception desk and bar counter. Lovely refinished bathroom. Loved the room darkening/sound reducing window shutters! We slept SO well! Quiet residential street with easy subway access, away from the heavily trafficked touristy hubbub. Very clean, well maintained. Thank you for the help carrying our suitcases up and down the front steps. We are in our 60’s and felt as though we were entering an Ivory Merchant movie.

Cons: I am not a huge fan of heavily carpeted rooms, they make me feel dusty . However I appreciate them as a sound reducing measure. The front step for our ridiculous amount of luggage; but we were helped as soon as we showed up and as we were leaving.

we don’t spend much time in a hotel, we are out and about so this just worked for us. Location via Metro was easy for bi

Pros: Adjacent to a Metro stop and just out of the busy centre. Compact, old school no frills, no surprises, just good old fashioned service.

Cons: no English speaking tv channels available for news or just back ground entertainment

Enjoyed it, it will be my choice of hotel when back in Rome. Great value and would recommend. VMI

Pros: Old world Italian hotel. Nice breakfast on the roof terrace. Fantastic guys on Concierge! Lovely dog Heidi. Comfortable bed. Great location. 10-15 minutes walk to Vatican. Literally 50 metres from Lepanto Metro stop.

Cons: Small things broken, e.g. sink drain. Bathroom a little cramped but depends on room because my sons’ room was bigger and perfectly fine. Lack of evening catering but ok it’s a small hotel so you go out to eat! Not much to do in the evenings.
