lovely weekend in rome

Pros: Giorgia was very friendly and helpful and even upgraded us to the newly refurbished rooms on the 2nd floor and Nicola was very helpful and booked us tickets for the hop on hop off bus .Breakfast was continental with a good choice very nice pastries and was always being replenished.Hotel very central near train station .

Great and affordable Hotel to use as a base for visiting Rome.

Pros: Great location. Short walk from Rome train station. We stayed in a lovely refurbed room on the 2nd floor. Good value for money for a few days in Rome. Breakfast buffet was good.

Cons: There was no bar open however coming out of the hotel there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It looked like there was a small bar and perhaps you just ordered from reception. Everything else was really good and we will book again.

Great stay.

Pros: The location was ideal for both the main transport links, and walking distance to the main sites and attractions we wanted to see. Our room was upgraded on arrival, and the whole stay was comfortable, with a good selection for breakfast.

Cons: The water temperature in the shower would change dramatically at random intervals. But the bathroom facilities themselves were clean and accessible.

Hotel Contilia

Pros: Hotel in a very good location, close to the metro, buses and railway. Neat rooms, excellent cleaners, friendly receptionists. Very good breakfast, with the complaint that the breakfast tables remain untidy for quite a long time before the waiter tidys them up for the next guest.

Cons: Unfortunately, the neighborhood is quite noisy at night, especially the garbage truck.
