Hotel Emona Aquaeductus

An Italian adventure full of welcome and history

Pros: It was like staying in an old, beautifully-maintained villa hidden from the hustle and bustle but right at the heart of Rome. We were treated like visiting family. Locals in nearby shops helped us with our poor Italian skills. Staff at the hotel helped us find lovely local restaurants and guided us with transport questions.

Cons: They were doing some renovations at the hotel but didn’t warn us that workmen in Italy start quite early!

Lovely!

Pros: The hotel is beautifully located in front of an old aqueduct, set within a charming, traditional Roman building that adds to its authentic atmosphere. It is about a 25-minute walk from Termini, which may feel a bit far for some guests, but the surroundings make up for it. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, always offering assistance whenever needed. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room featuring a balcony, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

Pros: Had a lovely stay at Hotel Emona Aquaeductus. The location is very decent—it's tucked away in a quieter area but very close to the train station and tram stops, making it easy to get around Rome. The room was good, neat, and the service from the staff was professional and welcoming. My only minor complaint is the lack of a water kettle in the room; having a way to make a quick hot drink would have been a great addition.\

Really great place for a weekly stay, we enjoyed it and would consider to come back next time.

Pros: Good breakfast, location, helpful and very friendly staff. The overall atmosphere is also great.

Cons: Thin walls between rooms

Cons: The bathroom door was not fixed well. However, it is not something to worry about, but I hope they will fix it.

Pros: Our stay at Hotel Emona Aquaeductus was fantastic and a highlight of our European trip. We were very impressed with our room and the hotels facilities, which were both spacious and clean. The staff were also incredible, particularly Max, who was very knowledgeable about Rome, giving us plenty of recommendations and advice that made our trip exciting and memorable. Emona will always be our go to accomodation choice for all of our future Roman adventures. Alex and Emilia.

Amazing hospitality and a beautiful hotel

Pros: This was my third stay at Hotel Emona Aquaeductus, and it is without a doubt my favorite hotel in Rome. The hotel is always spotlessly clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff are truly wonderful - warm, professional, and genuinely caring. A very special thank you to Vlado, whose hospitality is exceptional. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, is incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. His service truly makes a difference and elevates the entire stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
