Hotel Donatello

Lovely hotel and convenient location

Pros: The members of staff were all very nice and helpful with providing maps, advice, and help with ordering taxis. The air conditioning in the room was great, and very appreciated.

Pros: I am very happy with this hotel. Rooms are good for price. Air-conditioning is ok subtle but works. It's extremely hot now in July. Staff are all very friendly & helpful. Transport just outside the door. A few nice restaurants across the road one i had the best tasting pizza margarita ever in La Pecora Pazza. Breakfast here is basic and perfect, relaxing too.

Nice hotel

Pros: A good hotel for its price. The room matched the description on the website. Nice staff. Localization is good: we didn't have to use taxi or public transport services at all.

Cons: There was no internet connection in the room. And the hair dryer is not enough powerful if you have long hair.

The staff here are very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Pros: The room was very comfortable and clean, I would definitely stay there again

Cons: The breakfast was minimal, no fruit and only one cereal

Very pleased with my stay

Pros: The hotel was really nice, especially the terrase; very clean too. Easy to get to and from it basically everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. But be careful if you're sensible to noises - the hotel is located in a very busy area with trams and buses, sleeping with windows open is impossible.

Pros: My wife and I were there, we really liked it, great staff, will help with anything you need, room cleaning every day. The location is also good, cafes and restaurants are nearby, metro station is within walking distance.. Great place!

Old world luxury at an affordable rate.

Pros: The lobby and breakfast courtyard are so well decorated. From the marble to the mosaics floors, give the hotel a truly luxurious feel. The bathroom and shower are also incredibly large for the area. We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the skyline of the area which was fantastic.

Cons: The location is handy with trams, taxis and buses easily available. I can understand that some wouldn’t feel comfortable on the area as it has a lot of graffiti etc, however I think the juxtaposition of old and new art is part of what makes Rome the eternal city.

Enjoyable, comfortable and lovely staff

Pros: Lovely small hotel. Fantastic staff.. I cannot say enough about the staff Hotel is spotless

Cons: Unfortunately the bar was not open which was a pity as it is about 2.5km out of the main city

Pros: Cozy hotel in a good location. Five minutes from the metro station. Very helpful and nice staff

Cons: The breakfast was not worth the price. For similar money, you can buy a significantly better breakfast in many cafes around
