Colosshouse guest house

Pros: Near city center and clean room Diego and his father were very nice.

Cons: The guesthouse is inside a residential building, so it can be easy to miss. It would be helpful to provide more detailed directions before arrival.

Pros: Very comfortable, clean and quiet apartment in an authentic Roman building with a lovely entrance and charming windows. The bed was super comfortable, and the location perfect for exploring the city. Place felt cozy and peaceful. Great value for a short stay.

Cons: As a small suggestion for improvement: having a mini fridge and, for coffee lovers like me, a small espresso machine would make mornings even better.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. It was warm overnight and we were able to sleep with the windows open because the inner courtyard is so quiet. It's near a metro station and the host Diego was responsive on WhatsApp.

Cons: There's no kettle to make hot drinks

Pros: The proximity to public transport such as the metro and walking distance to the Coloseeum were great, was walking around most places, so location wise, was great. Not so much a detractor, more just something to keep in mind, was able to communicate electronically pretty easily, however noticed spoken english is basically none, nothing a game of charades cannot fix. Again, not a negative, just don't expect spoken english.

Cons: Very slight negative - was just the instructions on how to find the location was a little limiting, Its very central location, however had to msg upon my arrival to get let in, as didnt know exactly which unit to ring.

Lovely Guest House

Pros: Diego was very friendly. Location was great, only a short walk to the Colosseum. Room was clean with comfortable beds.

Pros: The host was lovely, met us at the property and offered recommendations, even though we were late due to a delayed flight. The property is in an excellent location with some great restaurants nearby and the metro a short walk away. It is clean and comfortable, all that was required for us as we spent most of our time out and about exploring the city.

Cons: Some hot drink making facilities and a small fridge would make this place even better.

Pros: The location is ideal, and the host is exceptionally kind, even recommending a wonderful local restaurant.

Pros: Location was perfect for the metro. Beds very comfortable. Host extremely helpful, very accommodating. Quiet location. At first we weren't sure about our bathroom being outside the room but having used the shower which was excellent, the temperature in the bathroom would have made the room unbearable.

Cons: Nothing really. Only suggestion would be maybe a kettle and small fridge which in summer would be useful but we knew these weren't included before booking.

A most enjoyable stay, I would definitely return. Grazie mille Colosshouse.

Pros: Firstly, the location of Colosshouse is excellent. It’s right beside Manzoni metro stop and also walkable to Via Cavour. There were bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Secondly, this is a very secure location. It is on the second floor ( lift available) with keys for the outer gate and the door to Colosshouse itself. Thirdly, the accommodation is very clean, comfortable and perfect for me as a solo traveller. My room was medium sized but perfectly adequate. Finally, the communication pre visit with Diego was very efficient and then at the property, Guiseppe was very welcoming and thoughtful .
