Room 14

Pros: It was easy to find ,I took the metro to Piazza Bologna station, which is just two stops away from the Colosseum.

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the dark paint on the walls ,it made them look a bit dirty, even though they weren’t. It didn’t affect my stay, but just a suggestion: a lighter color would make the place perfect it will look cleaner.

Very nice stay

Pros: We had a nice stay at this guest house. The room was comfortable and suited to our needs. The host was kind and flexible, which made everything easy for us. The location is ideal, few minutes away only from Bologna station.

Good value

Pros: The host was very helpful and checked in on us when needed. Also gave us great restaurant recommendations! Easy self check in process and good value for money.

Cons: Wish there were more pillows as you only get one each

Solid stay for a fair price

Pros: Once we checked in it was comfortable, they even changed towels and made the bed every day. It’s right next to the metro which makes commuting to the center very easy and fast. Nice bars and restaurants in walking distance as well.

Cons: At first we thought it’s a scam because it’s a normal residential building and no one answered the bell. A neighbor let us in but then there was no one there and I needed to call and we waited 20 minutes in the hallway until we could checkin. Previous communication was little so weren’t prepared for that. It’s true that the hosts seems to smoke inside in the common area, however, the room was fine

Pros: Very nice room and very good location. A nice neighborhood with supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The metro station was in a close distance as well. Our host and the room staff were really polite and quick to respond at any time.

Overall was quite good

Pros: Great area with restaurants, and metro station just a few steps away. Prices in shops/restaurants/bars are much lower than in the centre. Air conditioning in a room was a bless. No kettle on site, but there is a bar opposite the accommodation with normal prices (delicious coffee latte for €1,30 and croissants for €1). Cleaning service every day. Nice and polite owners.

Cons: - Very hard mattress, wasn’t good for my back. - Noisy toilet. - Loud during the night, even with closed windows. - Under shower had to wait for warm water for few minutes to run. - Some of the guests are having problem with reading and understanding, and not closing the lift doors. Two times I had to use stairs and go up to 6th floor because someone block the lift by NOT closing the door. Obviously it’s not a householder fault, but be aware that room is on 6th floor and there is a possibility that lift will not be available.

It was a very cosy experience.

Pros: The owner/manager was very welcoming, reliable and helpful. He gave us great recommendations and information about the city. The room was really clean and had a decent amount of amenities.

Cons: Nothing I can complain of.

Excellent

Pros: The room was very clean, the bed and towels were changed every day, communication was very good. Very friendly staff, the owner came very quickly at the property when we arrived and helped us with all that we needed. The metro and bus station is very close, like 2 minutes walk, and there are many restaurants and shops in that area. I recommend this property if you go to Rome and want to stay in a nice neighbourhood.

Pros: The hotel owners, the brothers, take your time and guide me to anything you need without neglecting it

Good place for 2,3 days

Pros: The location is really close to the metro station and another public transport

Cons: They have to change the water jug.
