Quiet and cosy place close to the Colosseum

Pros: The host was very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help or offer advice. She is a wonderful woman. She created a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Very clean and cozy place. The room was quiet. The Colosseum was within walking distance. There were shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay there.

A great place to stay if you want comfort, convenience, and a warm welcome!

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome. The room was on the smaller side, but very clean and comfortable, which made it perfect for a city trip. The location couldn’t be better—just a 15‑minute walk to the Colosseum and only 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. The host was incredibly nice, helpful, and genuinely caring, which made the experience feel very personal. Despite being right in the heart of the city, the hotel is quiet and has an authentic atmosphere that gives you a real taste of Rome. A great place to stay if you want comfort, convenience, and a warm welcome!

Cons: Tricky to find an entrance.

Pros: The apartment was very clean and we felt extremely safe while staying there. The bed was super comfy and we had one of the best nights sleep we've had in a long time.

Cons: The host came and met us outside however we would have struggled to find the building otherwise as there isn't any visible signage outside. The host does communicate via WhatsApp and replies quickly on booking.com so don't let this put you off.

Pros: The location is perfect! Walking distance from many main attractions and very close to the subway and park. Really nice breakfast to compare to other hotels. The host Manjule was amazing! Helped all the time, was very friendly!

Pros: The host Mandula was so welcoming and friendly. He had great knowledge of the city and gave us some great tips on how to stay safe. The location was superb, and many of the points of interest were within walking distance. The fresh bakery options supplied were lovely each morning, and Mandulas coffee was 1st class. The apartment was very safe and AC was brilliant and very much needed during our stay. The room was comfy and clean.

Cons: Our TV was working properly on Spanish speaking TV available as our fire stick didn't work.

A lovely trip to Rome

Pros: A pretty and well thought out room that made good use of the space available. The host was very friendly and provided useful information on the area. Breakfast consisted of fresh coffee and local pastries, which we enjoyed. The rooms are tucked away from the main road, so there was no noise at night.

Cons: The location overall was not the best, but we did not mind going for longer walks at nighttime.

Excellent stay close to centre of Rome

Pros: The host was very friendly, gave us lots of advice about our trip. Room was lovely and clean. Around 15 min walk to colosseum.

A beautiful, clean room at Bretone XL B&B with great amenities, delicious breakfast & good location.

Pros: A beautiful room at Bretone XL B&B. We had adjoining double rooms with attached bathroom which was perfect for the three of us. The shower especially was great. The room had lovely decor with character, it was very clean, had good amenities and delicious breakfast. It was also in a great location - close to train station and easy to get on the hop-on & hop-off buses. They also kindly decorated it to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend

Pros: Stuff was super helpful. Good beds and clean place . There was even a little kitchen where we had breakfast made by the stuff .

Cons: Sheets don't stay on mattress maybe the size is wrong or the elastic band is worn 🤔 but however sheets were nice and soft
