Hotel Lord Byron - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

A lovely small hotel with warm helpful amd welcoming staff.

Pros: Very friendly staff, building has character, great location to be near our friends and also many of the embassies in Rome so a quiet residential area. The breakfast buffet is great as is the hot chocolate!! 👌🏼👌🏼

Cons: Doesn’t have a gym!

Pros: Elegant design of the hotel and rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. The selection of food for breakfast was limited but everything was tasty. The room, the bed was comfortable, We had a nice view. There was a coffee machine and tea kettle, and welcome bottle of water in the room

Cons: I would prefer to get the room with a shower cabin instead of the bathtub. The rest was wonderful

Cons: water in drains heared especially in evening and night at my room 201 and thier was sudden noisy soumd ? from AC disapeared after informing the reception .and thier was construction and noisy work with no early notification

Pros: We have been coming to Italy for holiday since 2004. Recently, every time we stay in Rome we choose Lord Byron. From the service to the location everything exceeds our needs for a pleasant stay. As others say, it is in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood in the embassy district. No traffic, no crowds, but it is a short, easy walk to the zoo, the museum of modern art, The Borghese Park, and then to Piazza del Popolo for your gateway to rest of the city. We love Rome, but do like to get away from the tourist crowds at the end of the day and just wander either in the park or the neighborhood around the hotel. The staff are all especially wonderful and do their best to personalize the experience and treat you as family. It's nice to be recognized and greeted by name at registration by everyone from the front desk to the concierge and valet staff, to the bar and breakfast staff. It lets us know we are in good hands.

Despite those couple of negatives, overall our stay was enjoyable thanks friendly staff.

Pros: Alexia, Leticia and Luigi were excellent ambassadors for the hotel and added greatly to out enjoyment and stay.

Cons: Shower and basin plumbing needs attention as it couldn’t handle the water flow. Our room had an infestation of small cockroaches.

Pros: Small and beautiful hotel in Art Deco style. The attention to detail in the decor is really gorgeous. The location is perfect. Close to the main attractions in a lovely and safe area of Rome. Excellent choices of foods at breakfast, amazing fruits and good coffee. The elegant ambiance of the restaurant made each meal a memorable experience. My room was large and bed comfortable. Liked that I could open the window for fresh air. The staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly. My favourite Mr.IVAN was super-helpful all the way through. Would highly recommend this hotel. Will be back

Art Deco Gem in the heart of Rome.

Pros: A very lovely hotel, very clean, an excellent bar, great food. The staff were extremely professional, polite, friendly.

Cons: Nothing really. Everything was fine.

Boutique upscale hotel in quiet neighborhood

Pros: A boutique hotel in an upscale neighborhood away from the tourist areas; good restaurants, museum, park within 10 minute walking distance. The staff was professional and attentive. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent.

Lovely stay in parioli

Pros: Loved the friendly staff and their attention for detail the most, especially the lady at the reception and the lady at the breakfast. Quiet area, no noise from the street. Breakfast was really nice. Loved the freshly sliced fruits. Everything is clean.

Cons: The matrasses are in need of replacement.
