Hotel Mariano

Amazing location, huge room!

Pros: - Location!!! Only 5 min walk from Termini!!! - Room was huge!!! Loved all the space!!! - They allowed us early check in!! Definitely this will be my first option for all my next trips to Rome!

Cons: - The hairdryer was super old and noisy, and not really drying properly... maybe you can consider updating it! - The shampoo was only a little sachet containing like a pea-size amount... and only 2 sachets were left in the room. Fortunately, the cleaning lady was just outside, and gave us a bunch more! - The fact that the city tax was only payable via cash was a little inconvenient!

Hotel Mariano Rome two nights

Pros: The room was very clean and was great value. Bathroom and fittings very modern for the economy rate of hotel. Location. Great for arriving / departing via train.

Cons: Room safe did not work. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but worked fine. The hallway out the front of the rooms is very hot but maybe this is just what to expect in Rome for summer.

Very enjoyable!

Pros: Convenient location to the train and eateries. Clean, staff were very helpful. Breakfast was €6 and was very good. Has a lift and stairs were easy to manoeuvre.

Cons: The shower was hard to get into. Only one small door opened and thank goodness we weren’t big people. It was a little tight.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Very clean and terrific location to the termini train station.

Pros: Staff friendly, and we found some excellent coffee and pasta spots nearby. Rooms very very clean. Great location for early connections using the station. Cheaper hotel but maintained to a very high standard!!

Perfect weekend in Rome

Pros: Excellent air conditioning for the heat, and a new bathroom. Very comfortable! Also luggage storage and friendly staff.

Rome weekend stay.

Pros: The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the centre for eating and drinking and then only 30 mins walk to most big attractions...... Colosseum....Trevi fountains etc

Cons: The only thing which we feel would be a problem for most travellers would be the firmness of the mattresses as a good night's sleep is often essential. The mattresses here are uncomfortably hard.

Pros: We had a nice few days here. The hotel is really close to train station and shuttle bus. The room was pretty spacious and clean.
