Pros: Location was perfect - right across the road from the Coliseum and surrounded by cafes and restaurants.
Cons: Stairs - dragging our bags up 4 flights of stairs was tough - but if you want the views you need to be higher so its a trade off :)

Pros: The air conditioning was absolutely excellent quality and very much need3d as there was a heat wave. Even though there were bars underneath us we didn't hear their music which apparently played until 2am every night. Daily cleaner. Staff helped with our luggage.
Cons: That we had so many flights of stairs up to our room.

Great location, nice room.
Pros: The location is amazing. You leave the hotel and the Colosseum is just there on your left, across the road. We could see a part of the colosseum if we poked our head out from our room window (as it was to the left you wouldn't quite be able to see it with the window closed - but we appreciated it nonetheless). Right in front of the hotel are the Ludus Magnus ruins (which you could see from our window). Our room was clean and spacious, with air conditioning and even a mini fridge, which was definitely a bonus. Clean bathroom. Restaurants on the street, and a shop/mini-market nearby. We would consider staying here again if we were to visit Rome again.
Cons: You have to hand your key in every time you go out. It wasn't a huge issue but not something we've been asked to do before in the numerous hotels we have stayed in. Just something to be aware of if travelling with children - we found the city tax on booking.com was incorrect when it came to paying at the hotel. When we visited (August 2023) it was 3.5 euros per person per night, payable at the hotel. According to booking.com it should have been 21 euros (3 nights), but the hotel wanted to charge 42 euros. On querying the charge they said you have to pay for children over 10 (we only had one child over 10 at the time, but they were counting our 8 year old into it as well). In the end, we paid 31.5 euros for two adults and one child over 10. It didn't bother us, but for anyone with mobility problems, there is no lift (our room was on the third floor).

Rewelacyjna lokalizacja i bliskość centrum Rzymu
Pros: Rewelacyjna lokalizacja - obok Koloseum i stacji metra.
