White Ostilia Guesthouse

Pros: Our 2-night stay at White Ostilla Guesthouse, near the Colosseum, was outstanding. The host, Luigi, was professional and accommodating, ensuring a seamless experience. The property was immaculate, comfortable, and ideally located for our needs, offering easy access to Rome’s historic sites. Perfect for a short visit, this guesthouse deserves a 5-star rating. Highly recommended.

Pros: The property was good,pretty continue location. 5 mins walk to Coliseum,10 mins walk to the underground station. Good restaurants around the place. Host was friendly and helpful . Highly recommended.

Pros: The room and bathroom were VERY clean - 11/10. One thing that I didn’t like was that technically the room is within an apartment - and the door is an interior door, so there is not much noise insulation. There was another family that had the other part of the apartment and it was a bit noisy at times because they were with a kid… and well, kids slam things and cry and whatnot. Regardless - 10/10 stay. The location was perfect - the Colosseum is literally just around the corner. Most of the city’s Roman Empire remains are within walking distance, and for those that aren’t - there are plenty of bus/tram stops nearby, as sell as the metro via the Colosseum or Manzoni stops. There’s a gelato shop nearby which is great, with an amazing view of the Colosseum. The restaurants are a bit “meh”, so you definitely have to walk or take the public transport to roam around and find a nice place to dine.

Cons: The door should be changed - noise comes through from the other room.

Cons: Having two large codes to enter the building , on a short stay they are not easy to remember , if your phone was not fully charged you may have been stuck . Maybe shorter codes rather than the two 6 digits would be easier.

Pros: Great location. Walk to the Colosseum and convenient to public transport.

Cons: Air conditioning was not great. And we had a heat wave in Italy so it was very hot. Bed was firm.

Pros: The location is amazing!! Luigi was very accommodating & friendly. Offered to clean apartment regularly.

Cons: Cleanliness of apartments & perhaps amenities, like a microwave, iron etc. However, not deal breakers & we will definitely be back.

Pros: The room was reasonably good size, the bed was somewhat comfortable, the overall cleanliness was good! The shower was great! Luigi was great, would answer very quick! Very easy to access and great location

Pros: Place was so clean/tidy and had everything we needed! Staff were lovely and easy to communicate with! Amazing location with the colosseum less than a minute away.

We wanted a central location for our stay. This was perfect. The host was responsive and gave very clear instructions.

Pros: Great location. Keyless entry system very convenient to use. Very comfy room.

Cons: Noise from other apartments was very audible. The cleaning could have been more thorough ahead of our stay which we noted with the host.

Our stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend our accommodation
