Royal Rooms

Great location and friendly staff. We stayed for my wife’s 40th birthday and we had a beautiful display of towel folded

Pros: Location was excellent, we had a partial view of the Colosseum and full view of the ruins in front of the of the building

Cons: It was a little difficult to find at first, we booked the Royal rooms however the signage in the door said Imperial rooms, so we walked up and down the street before realising. There was a lot of street noise, a busy restaurant below open until midnight, there was further noise from the street corner by locals chatting until the early hours. Beds were comfy though.

I will be coming back

Pros: We had just stayed in Paris, Florence and Rome and the rooms we had were over priced and average. Then we stayed at Browns Central and loved it. Rooms had everything we needed and more. Great cocktails and food. Friendly helpful staff and a great location.

Cons: I can’t think of anything.

My stay was great. People are lovely and super helpful.

Pros: Location is amazing! Right next to Coliseum and metro. Cafe and restaurant under made it great to start a day with coffee. Perfect starting point to explore Rome.

Cons: Keys handing over to reception each time when going out made it inconvenient but likely to be for security reasons. Having a kettle to make hot drinks when in the room would be amazing. Small DIY in bathroom eg shower head kept sliding down.

Pros: Our stay was great. The location was perfect. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, you have everything that you need near by you. Our view from the window was satisfied. The only thing that we can notice as something negative is the noise by night because the street is busy and there are some restaurants under the rooms.

Pros: This property could not closer to the Colosseum…amazing! Easy walk roll other attractions and close to restaurants, metro and train.

Cons: Had some confusion at check in and ended up paying twice. Issue was resolved within the week. Well done.

Great location, would stay here again

Pros: Spacious room, good facilities, colosseum right out the doorstep. Great array of restaurants right at the doorstep including gelato.

Cons: There was very loud live music going into the early hours of the morning for several nights of my stay, but that was definitely not the property’s fault.

Amazing Location, one of the best in Rome

Pros: The location is absolutely amazing, same street with Colloseum and when you step out of the hotel you see it. The street had great restaurants, a gelato place, a 24h open Carrefour market, tram, and taxis. Also the room was spacious, there was a functioning safe, a comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Its a minimalist room but thats all we asked for anyway. Staff was very helpful, although we forgot to give the roomkey back and returned for it hours later, they could welcome us with a smile and laugh and they were always kind.

Highly likely to recommend!

Pros: Staff is exceptional, Location is amazing! (right across the Colosseo) and walking distance to a lot of attractions and good places to eat. Only downside is there are no elevators but I think that is mostly everywhere in the old buildings of the city. We were able to see the nightly fireworks as well!
