Popolo Rooms&Suites

Pros: The location is excellent, very close to the main square and the central area, with a metro station only about two minutes away. There are also several takeaway and casual food places nearby, which makes it very convenient for a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The apartment is spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. The room smelled very nice and the whole property has a pleasant, fresh scent. Small details like complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, water, cups, and soap were a great touch. The building also has a shared small kitchen area with a microwave, ceramic cooktop and sink that guests can use. There is also a property office at the entrance with staff available until around 2 p.m. They were very friendly and helpful, and it was possible to leave luggage there. We also liked the phone-based entry system for the building, which made access very easy since you only need one key for the room.

Cons: The soundproofing is a bit unusual. You cannot hear people talking, cars, or street noise, but the apartment overlooks tram tracks and sometimes the tram can make a loud squeaking noise when passing. It didn’t bother us much, especially since trams don’t run very late at night, but it might bother some guests. Also,we could occasionally hear water running when they used the shower or sink, but we couldn’t hear neighbors talking(witch is good) The furniture looks very nice and it was great to have two pillow options, but the mattress was a bit on the hard side, which might not suit people who prefer softer beds.

Pros: The location is just perfect - only few steps from the city centre.

Cons: Walls are very thin and you can hear what other people do in their rooms.

Pros: Enjoyable stay in Rome, room was ok for a city break, as you only use it to sleep in. Bedding and fresh towels changed every day.

Cons: Odd occasion the shower would turn cold. Also would have been nice to have had new toilet roll re-stocked and maybe the tea and coffee but apart from that it was ok.

Pros: Incredibly convenient location. Walking distance to many touristic attractions, close to metro and bus stops. The room was comfortable.

Cons: Showers are a bit narrow, and it would be better if there is a bigger trash bin in the room.

Pros: We loved the location, Piazza del Popolo is so beautiful! Also the building was amazing.

Cons: The room was a little smaller than expected.

The room was Perfect - and the location was in the heart of Rome without many Tourists!

Pros: The space was lovely – clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. I also really liked the location; it was convenient and close to everything I needed.

Cons: Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the check-in system using the Vickey app. On the first day, my phone turned off and I couldn’t access the room at all, which was very stressful.

Perfect hotel for exploring Rome

Pros: The hotel was placed in a ideal location, very close to the centre but not in a noisy area. Metro station was just a few meters away. The hosts were kind, responsive and helpful. The room was exactly like in the photos and very cozy.

Cons: There was a minor mulfuction in the shower.

Very comfortable stay and no hesitation to recommend.

Pros: Excellent location, rooms very clean and serviced each morning. Good showers and comfy bed! Staff very helpful too and very quick to respond to our queries/requests.

Cons: Location is excellent to access main attractions either walking or taking the metro or tram the down side is the tram stop is right outside the building so gets quite noisy especially from 6 am on....

Pros: The location of the room was great, close to main city attractions and Vatican city. Also, it is right next to the metro station so it was easy to move around the city and go to the main train station. The host was super responsive and happy to help with all the questions we had.
