All Comfort Astoria Palace

Clean and cozy

Pros: The first thing that caught my eye was the fact how clean everything was. It is the most important part of my stay. Our host was very nice and we felt welcome there. It was located very close to metro so public transport was covered. We had delicious breakfast there. Everything that we like but mostly coffee and fruits 🩷

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like. I was amused when I saw that the elevator was like an old wardrobe.

Pros: The hotel is more of a guest house, with a very friendly atmosphere and polite staff. It is on the fourth floor of a beautiful old well kept building. Our room was very clean, basic, not too big. We had a spacious roof terrace of our own, and the feeling while sitting there is worth all the 10s in the world. Breakfast was nice, nothing too splashy, but great for the start of the day, and took place in a room full of natural light and plants. The neighbourhood seems very safe and quiet enough, away from the touristy crowds. It is perfect for walking, well connected by metro (Policlinico stop of line B is right in front of the hotel), trams, and busses to everywhere in the city. You can also reach the centre on foot, 30-35 minutes walk. There is a 7-day open supermarket just across the street, also some very pleasant bars/pastry shops.

Cons: The bed was too soft for my taste. Also, if you are very tall, don't feel shy to ask for a room with higher ceiling. We are huge people, my partner was basically touching the roof while in a shower. They offered us a different room without us even asking, but we enjoyed the whole experience, and we decided not to change anything.

Very clean, very nice hotel close to the metro

Pros: Very nice hotel. The rooms were spotless clean. Beds were very comfortable. We could self check-in after midnight as our flight was delayed. The hotel is very close to the metro station in a nice neighborhood. There is an elevator in the building (hotel is on the 4th floor). Heating with AC. Good breakfast with nice variety. Water kettle and small fridge in the room. All in all, great hospitality.

Cons: Water pressure in the bathroom was low. There are curtains on the window, which let through light in the morning. But these were only small inconveniences

Pros: Extremely clean, good location right next to the underground, flexible check-in times Additional plus for the vintage elevator, never thought I would see one fully operable

Cons: Not much variety for breakfast

Not arrivederci Roma, but See you again Roma.

Pros: Nomentano is a quiet area. However, absolutely everything is closed on Sundays. The metro was closed due to the works., but the MB and MB1 bus lines that go to the Termini \

Cons: I have no objections.

Great Value, Host, Location and Stay for 2 nights

Pros: Breakfast was nice on the rooftop, the rooms were quiet and nice with a good strong aircon. The only thing was the shower had its moments being hot and cold and at times too hot despite trying to adjust it and all cold without having hot water. Would be nice to have a shower tray to store some of the shampoos etc and all but other so, all was good. The location is near Policinio station like 5 mins walk. Quiet safe area and its about 20 mins walk to Termini station There are nice bars and ice cream and restaurants around the corner around 10 mins walk esp a restaurant called Baccio Al pretoria which is fantastic!

Cons: As mentioned the shower was playing up hot and cold

Pros: Everything was clean, and overall a great and beautiful place to stay in! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly!! Breakfast was also tasteful, and the balcony was perfect to have a calm time in! I would 100% book here again if I have the opportunity to! Just perfect☺️

Pros: Everything was just perfect . Breakfast was very good. Just loved our stay. The staff was very generous and patient & helpful with everything. Had the best time staying. Will recommend my other friends and family for the stay!!
