Pros: Great location, 5 minutes away from Vatican, by foot. It delivers what it's written. Nothing more, nothing less. Very polite and helpful host.

Pros: The stay was great. I would recommend it to everyone who is planning a trip to Rome. The location is better than perfect. The apartment is simple, clean and cosy. Elvio is the kindest and the most helpful host I have ever met.

Cons: The bathroom needs a little renovation, especially the shower.

Pros: It was a very pleasant stay. The owner of the flat was really nice, hospitable and always ready to help. The place was cleaned every day. The kitchen balcony view priceless. I will recommend this place to my friends and when I come back to Rome, I will also surely choose La Cara Romana.

Cons: Step inside shower - be careful, it can be dangerous.

Cozy time

Pros: We had a fantastic stay on our first Italian trip to Rome. The flat is really cozy and quiet, the view from windows is so nice. The Italian style breakfast is small, but enough to start the day. Everything was comfortable and quite clean. We could use wifi without any problems as well as the well equipped kitchen. Also the neighborhood is really nice and seems quite safe and it has many cafes/bars nearby. Oh and the bus stop is just a few steps down the street. We appreciate our nice host and his helpful advises! (And we had good communication, which is important)

Cons: The water pressure is very weak, but as far as I know it’s quite common in Rome.

Affordable and accessible place with a friendly owner.

Pros: The owner was very accommodating. Despite our late arrival, he made arrangements to check us in. Tip: Please adhere to the check-in time or notify the owner immediately if you will be late, as he has work commitments. He was the only owner who provided us with welcome information about Rome. The place is conveniently located near St. Peter's Basilica, with restaurants, convenience stores, souvenir shops, and a bus station nearby. It's also close to the R. S. Pietro train station. Although the space includes other rooms, you have your own private bathroom located outside your room. There is a small kitchen available for cooking.

Cons: Hot water not available for bathroom sink.

Pros: About 8 Minutes walking distance to the vatikan. Bus going to the citycenter across the road. Supermarket about 5 minutes away, as is a very nice little park (entrance across the supermarket) where you can enjoy the evening sun :)

Cons: Breakfast is very rudimentary. Check-In officially only from 11:00-16:00, Althought the host made it possible for us to check in later.

Pros: Very good contact with owner and flexible time to check in Cleanliness of the place Very close to the rail station and Vatican Well equipped kitchen Good room space

Pros: Great value for money, great location, the host is super nice

Cons: Just keep in mind you are sharing the space
