Bed and Breakfast La Stazione Del Vaticano

Overall a nice stay with a lovely host with a good location.

Pros: The breakfast offering was only yoghurt which I told the host I didn't like when asked why we hadn't had any breakfast at the B&B. The location was good. A 10 minute walk to St Peter's square and the Vatican and also a lovely view of same from the road Via della Stazione Vaticano (especially when lit up at night). Lots of bars and restaurants if you don't want to venture into the centre of Rome. Little disappointed with the noise of the trains and the workman currently currently undertaking improvements to the building. Overall a nice stay and the host Hanna is lovely.

Cons: Breakfast offering could have been better - maybe a slightly nicer croissant than the one offered pre-packed in the room with a few crackers. Also felt a little unsafe in the lift.

Pros: It was near to Vatican and many restaurants around.

Cons: It was difficult to find the place as there was no clear sign or detailed guidance how to find the place. Without knowing Italian it was difficult to find and communicate the place owner. Due to the construction work at this time and train it was loud early in the morning. The windows were not also double sealed so it is not that quite.

Pros: A comfortable, nice room close to the Vatican (around 15 min on foot) with direct bus connection to almost all part of the city centre, so while our area was not too busy we could still reach the bustling part of Rome easily. Our host, Hanna, was super nice, accommodating and gave us good tips about the city which were really useful (note that she does not speak English, so either get a translator or someone who speaks Italian :D) I hope we can come back to Rome soon and visit again. :)

Cons: It would have been nice to use our balcony (as it was partly the reason we chose this B&B) but there was some kind of construction on the building, so we did not have the view. Also, while the breakfast was a nice bonus and was enough for us to not be hungry until lunch, a little variety would have been appreciated. After the third morning, it was a little boring to eat the same joghurt - jam -toast - cornetto combo with different flavours.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Very convenient and clean apartment, only a few minutes walk to the Vatican! The host is very nice and responsive.

Pros: Great location near the Vatican. Clean room with good space! We didn't realize it was a guest house when we went to check in earlier than planned, but it was all okay as the host was great and very accommodating

Comfortable accommodation, handy for St Peters

Pros: Great location for St Peters. Handy for buses to the city centre. Nice cafe next door for breakfast. Accommodation was spotlessly clean

Friendly host and close proximity to the vatican city

Pros: Near Vatican City Host was really nice, came down and tried to explain to us how the keys and lift work, additionally there were coffee and tea available. As well as a fridge, for putting our items in.

Cons: It could be a little far from main attractions, however it felt safer since the main attractions were often crowded

Pros: Very comfortable and accommodating. The host was very pleasant and gave us lots of tips of things to do around. Only thing missing was that we did not know it was a shared kitchen and no kettle or fridge inside the room. Wasn’t an issue but would have liked to be informed before booking in the description.
