A comfortable, homely bed and breakfast with close proximity to the Vatican.

Pros: The breakfast was good and our host provided us with fresh croissants each morning as well as a good variety of food for self service breakfast. The location was good, being only a 5 minute walk from the Vatican and right beside bus routes.

A modest but clean hotel almost opposite the main attractions of the Vatican

Pros: Excellent location, a 7-minute walk to the Vatican. Calm and pleasant interior, clean room. It was very warm in winter, with adjustable radiators. There is a kitchen available 24/7 (microwave, capsule coffee machine, tea, cookies). The hotel has only three rooms, and each room has its own shelf in the refrigerator, which is restocked daily with cheese, cold cuts, and yogurts. Breakfast is available at any time and is self-service. There are also cereals, milk, eggs, and juice. You can cook on the stove and buy additional items, placing them on your own shelf. The owner, Marco, is very kind. Everything is very clean. There was a bidet in the bathroom. We were a bit concerned about soundproofing, as the rooms are more like private rooms with en-suite bathrooms within a larger shared apartment, but it was very quiet (probably because we woke up earlier and returned later than everyone else).

Cons: Unfortunately, the croissants that Marco brought early in the morning on the first day were cold and did not look very appetizing, so we decided not to ask for them again. There were not any shelves in the shower cabin for sponges and toiletries at all, so we had to keep them on the floor. Shampoo and shower gel were combined in one bottle (two in total in the room), but we had our own.

Excellent value for money

Pros: This accommodation provides you with everything you need for a few days in Rome. Great location. Breakfast is ok, and we didn't really encountered any of the other people staying in the other rooms, so that was a plus. Our room faced the patio which was great and silent. The room itself was really big and you really have anything oy could need. Also daily cleaning of the room was much appreciated.

Cons: The quality of breakfast foods could have been better, but you can't really ask for a lot for this price.

Pros: The host is very kind and makes sure you don't miss anything, the accommodation is tidy and has everything you need.

Overall excellent stay and would recommend

Pros: The owner was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent, only five minutes walk from Vatican city and good transport links to the rest of the city, the area also felt safe. It was nice that breakfast was included and that there was a small kitchen.

Cons: mattress could be comfier but no other dislikes at all

Pros: Brilliant location only a short walk to St Peter’s Square and other sights . Marco the owner was so helpful and even let us check in early . Breakfast was so yummy with the best croissants we have ever had !
