A home from home in Rome
Pros: A lovely homely atmosphere in grand surroundings. The staff could not do enough for us and I felt that we were very welcomed and safe.
Cons: All I could say was that the pillows could’ve been slightly more comfortable, but that is a tiny thing.

Worth visiting
Pros: The place is mind-blowing, with an extraordinary view of the entire city from the fourth floor. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The whole experience was affordable on top of it. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Wonderful stay! Amazing rooftop!
Pros: This is such an underrated hotel in Rome! For the rooftop alone the Domus Sessoriana really delivers. The rooms are basic but spacious and the whole building is really beautiful with a lot of history. We were able to get around Rome easily and the staff were helpful throughout. Our top tip is to grab some beers and a pizza and enjoy the rooftop of an evening, great views and you save a lot of money. Great hotel, we will return should we visit Rome again.
Cons: If we had to choose anything, make sure you get a receipt when you pay your tourist tax. Ours was not recorded as paid on checkout but the staff were incredibly helpful and sorted this for us.

Pros: Great location, not far from Termini and San Giovanni in Laterano. Ambience. Helpful staff.
Cons: Internet not available in certain rooms. Few more options for breakfast would be great, particularly if you are staying more than a day or two...

If you enjoyed Conclave … :)
Pros: I hadn’t read the description so didn’t realise it was a converted monastery complex ! A great surprise to be staying somewhere so unique - fantastic roof terrace too
Cons: Rooms large but quite austere - but that’s in keeping with the monastery context

A unique place brimming with history, fitting for a stay in Rome
Pros: What a location, attached to a church. Loved its character and room was perfect. Rarely have I stayed in such unique a spot. Staff at reception very helpful with taxis to airport etc
Cons: Just that I couldn’t stay longer
