Pros: Everything was excellent – the service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere. We returned to the hotel after a year, which says a lot. Thank you very much, Carlo.

Would definitely recommend staying here when in Rome

Pros: The location was amazing, walking distance to all things touristy. Architecture was beautiful and authentic as well as beds were modern and comfortable

Cons: We did not get to spend enough time in the hotel as we were out most of the day exploring. We missed out on using the spa facilities also as we did not realise we had to book

Comfortable, quality hotel but don’t expect a seat by the pool when it’s hot.

Pros: This hotel ticked most of the boxes for our three night stay in Rome. It is well located, spotlessly clean and the staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast choices were plentiful and our son’s dairy allergy was well managed. It’s a beautiful building with plenty of charm and all the extra touches you’d expect from a hotel in this price bracket. Well located, we could easily walk to many of the sights in Rome we wanted to see, but took a cab to the Colosseum due to the heat.

Cons: We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night and were a little underwhelmed. We thought it was overpriced and didn’t live up to our expectations sadly. The pool on the roof is really too small for the size of the hotel, with nowhere near enough seating and little in the way of shade. It was almost 40 degrees so we really needed a space to cool off and ended up back in our room :(

Just book it, you wont be disappointed

Pros: Loved everything but especially the location, not right in tourist areas but close enough to walk everywhere. Pool was sensational

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, we’ll be back!

Just a few touches it would have been perfect

Pros: Loved the bedroom the location, the breakfast, the food.ovely in the sky restaurant, the staff are fantastic

Cons: Very dark bedroom, light switches were very difficult to work out, could not get subtitles on the television (I wear hearing aids) one night we went to the sky restaurant outside, and there was a dj playing awful music so we went downstairs but there was no one about

Excellent location and services

Pros: Expecting Rome to be extremely hot in August, we chose this hotel for its location, and pool. It did not disappoint. It was nice to go sightseeing in the mornings, back to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon by the pool, then venture out again in the evening for a stroll around the beautiful area. This was possible as the hotel was close to bus stops, the metro, a lovely shopping street and many restaurants. Air con was very good. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast quality and presentation was good. The roof top pool was very nice. Small but clean and well serviced. We enjoyed poolside drinks and lunch. For our children this was their favourite part of Rome. (better than the colosseum!) The staff is top notch. Very responsive to requests and make us feel welcome. The manager came to check on our boy after he slipped by the poolside. I would say the management in this hotel is excellent.

Cons: Breakfast room small. Tables so close together we heard the conversations of the next table. Not sure why it had to be so cramped, as there's unused space elsewhere in the hotel. Shower door in our room leaked due to misaligned door and broken seals. Staff responded straight away when told about it, but for a 5* hotel this should have been picked up by regular maintenance before guests arrive. Compared to hotels in Asia, I would rate this hotel 4* in terms of facilities. The services and staff do make it feel 5*

Great stay in Rome but overpriced

Pros: The property was overall very good, though not quite what I expected for the price – though that’s to be expected in Rome during high season. The service was excellent, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The gym was one of the best I’ve seen compared to other hotels in Europe, and the on-site hair salon was excellent.

Cons: On the downside, it was quite noisy inside the hotel, the rooftop felt overpriced for the ambiance and general atmosphere of the rooftop & pool was small, overcrowded, and not particularly aesthetic.

Pros: Great staff, attentive and genuinely friendly, 5-star comfort. Perfect location. Pool on the rooftop was amazing to relax in the afternoon.

Cons: Nothing.
