Great location, excellent staff

Pros: Excellent location right in the heart of Rome, and very helpful and friendly staff. Room chic and clean and quiet in spite of location, and good breakfast and facilities all round.

Pros: Very central, small scale and personal. Great small breakfast (lovely omelets with different ingredients!). Thank you!

Cons: Nothing. Sometimes we had a little bit of street noise if the window is open. That is part of being in the center.

A lovely small hotel

Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect on a beautiful street. The breakfast is good by Italian standards (normally just a pastry and coffee) but Coronari Palace had a great selection. The staff were very helpful and kind. Roof top bar was lovely. Just a shame it was only open 1 night out of the 4 nights we stayed.

Cons: Rooms were a little rundown. We couldn’t adjust the aircon. The fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row at exactly the same time. Both false alarms. All guests had to stand in the street for an hours each time in their pjs. The hotel is not manned after 10pm so there was no staff to help report the alarm or stop the extremely loud noise. The guests were all very frustrated. The fire alarm issue has not impacted my rating as these things happen but perhaps the alarm system needs some maintenance. I felt sorry for the reception staff in the mornings after the alarm as guests were complaining and expressing their frustrations. Obviously not the young man’s fault at reception. Who by the way, was very helpful and kind.

Great place to stay

Pros: The property was in a great spot, close to piazza navona, Vatican City and multiple restaurants. The rooms with balconies are the best, they give a great vibe of Rome Breakfast was very good. It seems small burnout really isn’t! The staff was absolutely the best! So helpful and friendly, it’s amazing
