Great location, wonderful staff and some fabulous eateries in striking distance.

Pros: The location and staff were a credit in testing circumstances.

Cons: The staff were let down by the extremely tired premises, themselves desperate for some TLC.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with super spacious, clean & lovely rooms in a central location.

Cons: Pillows could be more comfortable. Missed not having a chest of drawers / shelving / storage space so had to leave clothes in luggage. Room doors tend to lack sound proofing.

Price and quality of experience is more than great. For us it’s just favorite place to stay in Rome.

Pros: Grand hotel is unique piece of art. It is not only hotel it is a masterpiece with a story. Who wants to have stay with a meaningful experience of history, art and greatness of creativity this palace is definitely for you.

Cons: We were enjoying in its comfortable room that was spacious and with a spirit of royal old times. Position of the hotel is excellent, in the middle of city center. Roof top terrace is so green and well maintained with amazing view on the city.

Fantastic hotel, beautiful room and great location.

Pros: Had a loft suite which was large with a great terrace. The location of the hotel was brilliant and central for getting to all the major sights. Great choice for breakfast. Brilliant overall and have no complaints.

A glorious step back in time. A magical experience

Pros: The whole place was extraordinary. It was beautiful. The old ballroom was to die for along with all the magical downstairs rooms and the ceiling in the ballroom..Oh my goodness!… I loved the rooftop bar area too with all the greenery and stunning sunset skyline with the dome in the background. Our room was full of character and looked out over the street where we could watch everything that happened out there. Some would have not liked the fact that you could hear all the street life but it made us feel like, for a short time, we were part of the life of Rome

Fabulous!

Pros: Location was excellent. Central and right in the heart of the city. Convenient and safe. Staff were excellent especially Sarah and Matteo. So helpful and so accomodating.

Cons: Showers. Poor water pressure and hot hot enough.

Classic Rome

Pros: We had a 2nd floor balcony on a very lively street, which was fun to watch any time of day.

Cons: The roof terrace 'restaurant' sells glasses of champagne for 30 Euros. The limited food menu couldn't provide my first or even second choice, so we found a restaurant close by the hotel and had a lovely dinner at one third of the price.
