Great place to stay for exploring Rome.

Pros: Hôtel Okapi is in a good, accessible location, close enough to walk around the centre of Rome, and very near a metro station. The hotel staff were consistently helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the shower was great. Breakfast was ample- simple rather than sophisticated . The hotel altogether was great value, a good base to explore the city. There was a good choice of restaurants - including a very good vegetarian one- within ten minutes walk.

Pros: The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant — calm, tidy, and clean. Breakfast was simple but nice. My stay turned out to be wonderful thanks to choosing this hotel. The street is full of cafés, restaurants, and shops, which makes the location perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Ms. Diana — thank you for everything! It was a truly delightful experience. 🌸✨

Pros: Breakfast was a bonus we did not expect it,location was even better.

Cons: Bed was a little hard but it is what it is.

Nice Hotel with Great Staff

Pros: Friendly staff, free breakfast, close to attractions, safe area. It really exceeded my expectations.

Cons: Sound proofing isn't the best and I woke each day from my sleep by other guests even though I was wearing ear plugs. That never happens to me.

Pros: Location is excellent with good restaurants beside the guesthouse. The staff are friendly and helpful. DIY breakfast is continental only but plenty of coffee and croissants so you won't go hungry. Having a balcony is an advantage for a longer stay. The bedroom was small but the bed was comfortable and clean. The WiFi was good. The airport shuttle was prompt and cost €60 though had there not been a train strike, we would have used the airport express train service for a lot less! All in all, it does what it says on the tin! Considering costs of hotels in Rome, this guesthouse offers good value for money in a good location.

Cons: The bathroom was very small and down 3 steps which had to be navigated carefully. Although offered by reception, it would be nice if a couple of bottles of water with glasses were included in the room.

Pros: Wonderful staff, great location, so close to everything, very clean and ok breakfast.

Pros: Liked the staff and location a lot Room and breakfast were basic but fine Even the metro was close, we found out because of a taxi strike
