The Code Hotel

Pros: My mum has a physical disability, and whilst the hotel is not 100% accessible, the staff were so helpful and accomodating of her needs.. The rooms were spacious for her equipment and very clean. The room was quiet despite being on a busy street due to excellent glazing. Breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection. The spa was a lovely retreat from a busy day walking and caring for my mum. I loved the snippets of old features in the hotel and spa. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Friendly staff, excellent location near Spanish Steps and lovely clean and comfy hotel

Pros: Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, comfortable bed and room temperature, fantastic location, lots of choice and quality for breakfast with a good duration 7am-11am I think. Would recommend to friends and stay again.

Cons: The only small thing was that when we had a shower, often the water was just warm, sometimes it was hot for me, then warmish for husband, and the handheld shower you couldn't aim well, also the bar was only open till 11pm which meant we never went there (there's a reasonable priced well stocked mini bar in room tho). These are tiny things and meant it just missed a perfect score, not enough to stop us returning or recommending.

excellent stay in a pleasant hotel

Pros: Like this... the hotel is right above the Spanish steps, there is also an elevator nearby that can easily go down to the metro. The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is nice, the rooms are really neat, the maid who was neat and tidy keeps everything and all praise for that. The breakfast is nice, varied in a pleasant environment, warm, tidy and a very kind girl who is in the restaurant in the morning. I really have to say all the best for Claudio. A very kind gentleman who met us without burdening us for all our additional requests. Thank you Claudio. Recommendations to stay in a hotel in a very pleasant environment and with friendly staff.

Cons: Nothing.

Our stay at this hotel really made our trip to Rome feel more special

Pros: Location is very central to all popular tourist attractions

Cons: Staff was great, the room had a hot tub

Cons: Unfortunately the bed in room 208 was very uncomfortable/ hard. Although when I mentioned it to the receptionist she arranged for the housekeeping staff to put a blanket / layer on the bed which helped somewhat

Fantastic location & great staff

Pros: Fantastic location, right on top of the Spanish Steps. Very close to the Trevi fountain. Staff were courteous & helpful. Gave us a run down of the ‘must-do’s and booked us a private taxi to get back to the airport. Property was spotless and our towels refreshed daily.

Cons: Our only ‘issue’ was there was a crack in the bath and the shower head was broken so was a pain. And the hair dryer was next to useless but for a short stay, both things were manageable.

As central as can be

Pros: The Staff were amazing, location is perfect, room was well sized considering the location.

Pros: All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was very comforting to be looked after so well after a long journey from Australia. Claudio was fabulous, so welcoming and we loved speaking with him. Silvio was wonderful, so good at his job, so friendly. We really appreciated being given our room back after the train strike and we couldn't leave Rome. It was unexpected to have to stay another night and it was very easy to return. Thank you!

Ticked all the boxes

Pros: It is extremely central to all the site seeing. Trevie Fountain only less than 10 minutes away

Cons: Very reasonable in a very nice area of Rome

Pros: Very clean rooms. Staff were the most friendly and the location was the best! A short 20min walk to any landmark and train station. Further to Vatican The breakfast was a good choice and yummy and the evening meal at the hotel restaurant was the most delicious with very friendly staff we send down for a Meat and cheese board one evening as we were peckish and I will now always add honey and olive oil to all my cheese boards I will definitely stay here again

Cons: You could hear upstairs walking around but it wasn’t enough to keep me up
