GH Hotel San Giusto

Pros: Hotel is centrally located with bus and supermarket nearby.

Cons: There was no lift from the ground floor to the first floor so in case you have a big suitcase, it was such a challenge bringing your stuffs to your room. The aircon was not working properly but was actioned immediately by the hotel.

Nice and clean, value for money!

Pros: The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and eager to help, the rooms are barebones but you have everything you need. Great location, great value for money.

Cons: The one thing I did not like was the music played in the corridors. I do not really get why they would play music early-ish in the morning, but you can really hear it in the rooms, especially because otherwise the rooms are so silent. It's an easy fix but I found it a bit bizarre.

Good hotel in Rome, good price.

Pros: Perfect location, right next to the metro station. Clean rooms. Rich buffet breakfast. Kindly staff. Very good value for money in Rome.

Cons: In the bathroom, the cleaners only changed the towel that was left on the floor. (It wasn't written down.) Soft drinks at breakfast.

Decent hotel with good location near metro.

Pros: The hotel is right next to the B-line of the metro, so access to the city centre is very easy. The property was surprisingly attractive, and the room was in line with expectations at a 3*-property. Excellent ice cream just around the corner. Breakfast was OK. Overall, good value for money in an otherwise expensive city.

Cons: I was frankly quite satisfied with everything. There was nothing truly fantastic, but nothing wrong either.

Pros: The check in time is really convenient and the location is really close to the metro station.

Pros: The customer service was great. Front desk staff and housekeepers were very helpful. Thank you. There’s a great grocery store next to the hotel and various wonderful cafes and restaurants to choose from in the area. Metro station is a couple of blocks away.

Cons: Bathroom wreaked of bleach which spilled into the room. There were ants on the floor!! They hard a couple of ant traps which I’d never seen in a hotel room. The traps only do so much. It was unnerving since I didn’t have slippers or sandals and when Ingot up from the bed, I stepped on both dead and live ants.

Good for solo travellers, in a quiet neighborhood

Pros: It's a great value for solo travellers. Right near Bologna Metro station and in a clean neighborhood. Facility was adequate, washrooms were clean and stocked. They did offer breakfast but I could not get up early in the morning for it.

Cons: Bed was a bit small for an average person with 6ft height. Unfortunately the outside mezzanine floor makes noise everytime someone walks by and unfortunately in the morning it's especially bad when you can hear talking and people pacing back and forth.

A good option to stay in Rome

Pros: The hotel has a great location. Literally a couple of steps away from the metro and supermarket. The room is small, the bathroom too, but quite comfortable to come back from a walk around the city, take a shower and get a good night's sleep. The room has air conditioning.

Cons: Not the slightest flexibility to check in a little earlier than the scheduled time. The TV was not switched on, I don't know whether the remote control didn't work or the TV itself, but it didn't bother me much.

With the lot of negative comments from other travelers I expected the worst => nice surprise

Pros: Clean, functional, very close to Metro station Piazza Bologna, Conad juste beside; breakfast better than expected (not great but ok). Personally did not have any problems with hot water
