Pros: Amazing place to stay! Calm and nice part of Rome, not far from the metro station and the train station, great infrastructure - stores, small restaurants for breakfast and other meals, shops for those who came to Rome for shopping) The hostess, Laura, is a lovely, friendly and kind person - helped us with all the advices about the surroundings, moreover about the best places and sights in Rome to see. The apartment itself looks beautiful - villa with a terrase on the roof, lovely garden, reliable gates. The room has everything and more - cozy design, very comfortable bed, small kitchen and bathroom with all accesories needed. It was great to come to the apartment after long days walking arounf the city - as if you came home) Grateful, advise the place to everyone who want to come to Rome and definitely will come back! Ciao!

Charming, conveniently located place ideal for solo travellers

Pros: Charming, tidy place with excellent amenities and little extras! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful with tips and advice. The location is conveniently situated near the Metro line A. Would highly recommend.

Perfect 5 days in Rome

Pros: The property is really nice. It is an apartment in a 100 year old building and neighborhood with an authentic Roman vibe. You have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Laura is the most kindest host! Location is perfect. Around 25 minutes walking distance from Colosseum. Metro is 8 minutes away and bus station just around corner. Would recommend it to my friends planning to go to Rome!

Comfortable, clean, good value for money

Pros: Very spacious and comfortable place to stay in San Giovanni. Great facilities provided. The owner of the property - Laura was very welcoming and provided a lot of great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and information about transport around Rome. The property is very clean and well kept, and resides in a quiet area therefore not a lot of noise or disturbances. A short walk to the Metro’s at San Giovanni and Re Di Roma, making travel to different areas in Rome very accessible. Found this to be a fantastic stay altogether and great value for money compared to other accommodations in Rome which are typically not cheap.

Pros: Everything is perfect nothing can complain the host is very welcoming to us and give us so much trip tips we enjoyed it to stayed here for two days

Pros: Location was fantastic…in Rome but away from all the chaos with easy access! Lovely touches in the room - coffee, pastries etc. Wonderful terrace to sit on in the peace. Great restaurants nearby & Laura was amazing with her help & advice!

Beautiful warm place in the center of Rome

Pros: La Casetta di San Giovanni is a unique and particular place. Laura with her availability and hospitality makes everything special. The house is warm, welcoming, decorated for Christmas, full of details, ancient things and a collection of books available. The rich breakfast allows you to wake up and feel at home. The presence of the terrace and the garden is a flagship for Rome. It's super central, with the metro just a stone's throw away and the station that takes you to Fiumicino a five-minute walk away. There is a fruit and vegetable market under the house, and several supermarkets (also open 24 hours a day) full of bars and restaurants in the area. Via Appia for shopping and the Basilica of San Giovanni, all within 10 minutes on foot. If you like walking, you can get to the Colosseum in 25 minutes. In short, a place I will definitely return to every time I am in Rome.
