Really nice stay, I expect we'll be back.

Pros: The communication with the host via the Booking.com app was super smooth and efficient. The accommodation is an apartment on the 4th floor of a nice building in a nice part of town, shared between at least 2 south-facing rooms (possibly 3, I couldn't tell), each with its own bathroom across the hallway, all individually lockable. There are shared kitchen facilities, equipped with the basics (salt, frying oil, instant coffee and teabags), some beverages and a full fruit bowl. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. There is a concierge lady at the bottom of the building who was so friendly and especially helpful on the first day. The location is brilliant - lots of shops and public transport nearby, but also about 30 mins to walk into the historic centre.

Cons: Really not much to say here, no serious issues to report. The bedding and the pillows especially didn't smell super-duper clean, and the pillows are a little bit firm and thin if you're a side-sleeper, but the mattress is comfortable. It's on a busy road, but you're quite high up so the air and the noise are ok - maybe not if you left the windows open at night, so could be a problem in hotter seasons. I don't remember seeing an A/C unit. Some of the kitchen fittings are getting a little old, e.g. there are some electrical cables that look like they might need professional attention, the kettle is a bit eccentric. The window in the kitchen has a very loose handle, so it can't really be opened. We had a minor plumbing issue on the first night, but I messaged the host and it was fixed the next day. It's an historic apartment block, so there's not much acoustic privacy, but I think it's worth it for the period charm.

Pros: The location is great. The room and the bathroom are big and spacious. Mr Andrea kindly gave us all the instructions and city tips and permitted to store the luggage after check-out. Very good accommodation for the price. We will definitely come back

Cons: Some single-use slippers would be a cherry on top because otherwise if you don’t know about it you have to wear your boots all the time inside the apartment and even after the shower

Pros: Great location. Near to everything you could wish for. Very helpful staff. We were able to leave our bags on our last day. Some fruit and drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. Our second stay and I expect we will return.

Pros: Clean, Airy, Well lit, Spacious Rooms; Bathroom Outside was also large and clean. Located Near the Vatican and other major sites are not too far of either. Person who let us in (Probably the owner) didn't speak much English, but was very courteous and caring. Allowed us to keep our bags after checking-out for a few hours and return and use the washroom facilities as well.

A truly lovely stay in Rome!

Pros: We stayed at Ciao Roma on the 21st and 22nd of June and had a wonderful experience. The host was extremely kind, professional, and welcoming, he took the time to show us everything we needed and made sure we felt at home right away. One of the nicest gestures was that he left us some fresh fruit, which honestly made our day after traveling. It’s those small thoughtful touches that make a big difference! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and everything was clearly explained. Highly recommend Ciao Roma if you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and well-hosted place to stay in the heart of Rome. Grazie mille! 🇮🇹✨

Pros: Our host was lovely, very happy to help and offered very clear directions by text. The kitchen was extremely nice and had everything we needed. We were in an excellent location, very close to buses into the centre and an easy walk from restaurants, supermarkets, and the Vatican.

Cons: The decor was pretty kitsch (but still quite charming). There was a fair amount of noise from the nearby streets.

Pros: Great location, felt very safe and close to the Vatican for easy tourist exploration! Air conditioning was great and host was very kind.

Cons: Two king singles, but unable to be pushed together due to the bulkiness of the bed frames. Bathroom is separate to the room, but private.

Clean and comfortable, near to city

Pros: The apartment is so spacious and near to city and public transport. It’s a walking distance to Vatican City. The owner is super welcoming and kind, as he prepared fresh fruits and drinks for us. The check in process is smooth as the owner comes and guide us to the rooms. The bedrooms are clean and we enjoyed our stay
