Pros: Hi, we loved it. We walked almost all of the center, except for the Vatican. But there was always a subway nearby. There are a lot of local restaurants, but it's better to go to the restaurants in Trastevere. They are cheaper, better and more beautiful. The neighborhood is old with colorful Italian narrow streets. Convenient transportation, no problem by train to the airport.

Cons: The local restaurants were not to my liking, unfortunately. We have been to one with high ratings, Poccio or Puccio. We did not like the food, the quantity and the price.

Simple, clean room in lively local neighbourhood with great connection to the center

Pros: The room in the guesthouse was very clean, the ensuite bathroom was spacious. Very private and silent, one could not hear the other guests or rooms. The host was excellent and super nice and responsive and provided really nice tips for local and central restaurants and things to do in Rome. Air conditioning worked great and was a godsend in really hot days. Connection with line A of metro and bus 87/85 to colosseum (20-30min)and the city centre was really easy and fast. Lively local neighbourhood also close (1 stops metro) to Pigneto, area with really cool nightlife.

Cons: It is a simple and correct room in a guesthouse (4 rooms total), very good value, No complaints!
