Domus Altino

Lovely place with an even lovelier host!

Pros: The host was absolutely fabulous, great communication and so so nice and helpful. The place was clean and had everything one can need. Location was close to the buses and metro. TV worked well, and it was quite a quiet area. We got vouchers for free breakfast from the host which was such a lovely gesture.

Cons: The double bed was actually two single ones connected with some band, which sadly was moving apart sometimes. It was more funny than annoying. The shower was leaking a bit, nothing too dramatic though.

Very good

Pros: Communication with Claudia was easy and was always at hand. The room was clean and well heated and location is very good, in a real neighbourhood, close to metro and with many restaurants and shops around. We walk to downtown every day, Colosseum is close.

Cons: Tiny sink. Being almost in a basement, you can't open the shutter to the street, no natural light available.

Pros: Great location to good restaurants, cafe, bars and walking distance to main attractions. Host were very accomodating. Comfortable beds. Good value for money.

Beautiful, wonderful and peaceful.

Pros: The apartment was really easy to find due to the detailed instructions the owner sent by text and photo messages via Whatsapp the day of the check-in. It was really clean, warm and had a nice scent overall. The owner was amazing and always communicated everything by text. I truly recommend Domus Altino to whoever wants to visit Rome. The bus stops are close from either side of the building. It is a queit, safe neighbourhood.

Pros: Room is spacious enough for 2 people, in good residential location but not so far from the attractions. Host is very responsive and gave recommendations on asking. We had to check in early and she have us room by 11AM itself.

Pros: Very clean, comfortable, cozy. Everything you need is in the apartment. It was nice to have coffee machine in the room with coffee pods. The main sightseeings are close to the apartment. We were walking on foot.

Pros: Beautiful, clean room, with everything you need. Staff super friendly, pinpad entry so you don't need to carry a key everywhere. Perfect 👌

Cons: The bathroom lacks hooks, shelves in the shower and the shower head was in bad shape. Neighbours and other guests can be heard in the night.

Very comfortable stay

Pros: Very clean, comfy bed had all the amenities needed. Had a keypad to enter the code so didn’t need to worry about taking a key out with us. The host Claudia was excellent with communication. From before we went she made sure we had all the information we needed and nothing was too much trouble. She gave us 2 breakfast vouchers which was very kind to enjoy around the corner.

Cons: Air con was intermittent
