Beautiful property and fantastic location

Pros: We had amazing stay at the property, Carlo was very friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic, very close to everything! We will definitely be back and already recommended place to others

Quaint Bolt Hole Hotel, Central Rome - Spagna

Pros: Great unique hotel room in the centre of the Spagna district, easy walking to most destinations in the city. We'd just come from the cruise port (where Carlo had kindly also arranged the transfer for us), we arrived early in morning but were so grateful to be given an early check in at Frattina on arrival. Loved looked down on to the cobbled street in the morning and there were two lovely coffee/breakfast shops directly next to us, for ease.

Pros: The location & the large rooms were amazing for central Rome, comfy beds & pillows.

Perfect location.

Pros: The location was excellent. You can walk everywhere. And it was really quiet considering the location. We had a lovely bar/cafe opposite which was great for people watching and for breakfast and an aperitif.

Cons: We had asked for twin beds and they said they would upgrade us for the same price but they didn’t. Luckily the bed was large enough so we were ok in the end.

Family friendly. Excellent location. Clean and spacious.

Pros: The property was in a great location. It was clean and had all the facilities we needed for a family of four. We were on the first floor and it wasn’t bad getting up and down with luggage. The room was super spacious and the aircondiditoning worked well. We would definitely stay there again. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Pros: Mr. Carlo was very communicative and attentive. He stayed in touch with me both before and during our stay, which made me feel confident that we wouldn’t face any problems. The location of the apartment was excellent. We used the metro on arrival and departure. It’s very close to Piazza di Spagna and within walking distance of all the main historical sites. Since we enjoy walking, we went everywhere on foot. Many thanks to Mr. Carlo.

Cons: The apartment didn’t have an elevator, but that wasn’t a big issue—there was no elevator at the metro station either. As a family with a child, carrying both luggage and a stroller up and down the stairs was quite exhausting. This might be a general issue in Rome, or maybe we just couldn’t find the elevators—we're not sure. Apart from that, the price was a bit high in my opinion, but accommodation in Rome seems more expensive compared to other European cities. So, in terms of price–quality balance, it felt slightly on the higher side for me, though this is more of a comment about Rome in general, not just the apartment.
