Pros: A very authentic and comfortable environment. Staying in the palace, living within history, is truly enjoyable. Definitely a place to recommend. The only drawback is that breakfast is not provided. Even if breakfast is not provided, I think it would be great if filter coffee were served early in the morning.

Pros: Excellent Location, Great Host, Awesome Vintage, Palatial Ambience , Vaulted ceilings, Original paintings, Renovated Bathrooms

Cons: A heads-up on the non availability of breakfast would have helped. Quaint Small lift required multiple trips due to our large luggage.

Pros: Our stay at Residenza Ruspoli Bonaparte was nothing short of extraordinary - stepping into this residence was like stepping into a live oil painting, where every room is adorned with breathtaking ceilings, magnificent art and centuries of history. A special thank you to Rodel whose kindness and attentiveness made our stay seamless and stress-free. He ensured our every need was met with warmth and grace. The true highlight was meeting Princess Ruspoli! With generosity and charm she personally guided us through this magnificent residence, sharing the most fascinating stories of the Ruspoli legacy. We left feeling like honoured guests. Rome, you spoiled us rotten!

All that we expected

Pros: Ambience, architecture, history & location were all perfect and in keeping with a historical city like Rome.

Pros: A stunning property, full of splendid grandeur. We felt like VIPs in such a beautiful apartment. Rodel was extremely helpful at check in and when we left our luggage for a short while after check out.

Cons: We had a bit of trouble trying to get our phone charging adaptors into the sockets in the rooms but were able to use the ones in the bathroom.

Very memorable. Super location. Safe and quiet.

Pros: Super location right in the heart of Rome, many beautiful stores, restaurants and cafés nearby. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful living space and very private. The Spanish steps at the end of the street. So appreciative to be able to spend a few days with my sons in a palace. Such heritage and culture and to get a tour from Principessa Giacinta was just so special and to hear all about the Ruspoli family history first hand. Rodel is just a wonderful asset to the staff so helpful, polite and professional. Don’t hesitate to book a stay..

Cons: Not being able to stay longer.

This property is the embodiment of “When in Rome”, an opportunity to step back into history.

Pros: The location is exceptional, you really couldn’t be placed in a better part or Rome for easy walking access to all major attractions, cafes and restaurants.

Cons: We had some issues with our air con system in the property, and an issue with power. However, as soon as the staff were made aware they did all they could to assist.

A special place to stay with lots of history plus modern comforts.

Pros: We really enjoyed staying in this property. The suite was lovely, comfortable, a good size and surprisingly quiet given the location. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price we paid, but we found various options in nearby cafes. As an unexpected extra, we were given a tour of the palazzo, which was both interesting and enjoyable.

Fabulous opportunity to stay in an authentic palace. Perfect location.

Pros: The interior was a wow! Good communication from property. Excellent location in the centre of Rome for sights and shopping.

Cons: Minimal facilities provided in the room which could be improved upon (provide iron/board, upgrade satellite tv offerings - Netflix etc) but help always on hand to provide if needed.
