We had a wonderful stay in a character filled apartment.

Pros: The property has such character, I came to love it more and more through the week. Very clean, lovely supplies cupboard in the kitchen made it home from home, and a lovely bottle of wine and water in the fridge. The welcome was lovely, I did feel welcomed, both the taxi driver and the host sent us recommendations which I appreciated. The location is very central to things, and it was easy to get a taxi from the square. It can be noisy at night, but remember this is city centre. Mostly cheery and fun noise. The garden area is lovely and just aided relaxation and the much needed air conditioning was amazing!

Cons: The only thing was my husband found the bed very hard. But I did realise when we got home that his side of our own bed is very very soft! The arrangement of the rooms with beds on different floors is definitely better for older children or adults. Lots of stairs, so tricky for elderly or toddlers. We loved it though, my daughter felt like a princess in a tower!

Lovely flat full of character!

Pros: A wonderful apartement with a cozy atmosphere, located in the heart of Rome! Transfers and restaurants are just around the corner. The hosts definitely did an amazing job in decorating the apartement with antique artworks and furniture.

Cons: The walls were paper thin, but that‘s what you can expect from an old building. Nothing for people with light sleep though.
