Ode to a very fine boutique hotel in central Rome

Pros: This property is fabulous - well situated, well set up, well designed and well run by professional, friendly and cooperative staff. It is located on a surprisingly quiet street 100 metres from the Colosseum and The Forum Romana. The interior design is interesting and appealing, but like all such properties the built environment is only as attractive as the people operating it, and here they are really excellent.

Cons: There is nothing that we did not like. I gave a rating of 9 rather than a perfect 10 firstly because we had a few minor engineering issues in our room (although these were solved seamlessly), and secondly because I never really give 10 out of 10 on the principal that SOMETHING can probably be improved. The real test is to ask whether we will stay there again. The answer: absolutely!

A beautiful sojourn at Palm Suites

Pros: I love this hotel. I stayed here a year ago and returned this year both at the start and end to my Italy trip. The staff are fabulous, I love the in room breakfast and the rooms are nicely appointed. I will be using this as my home base when in Rome going forward.

Cons: I have two small items to suggest: first the bathroom. The shower is the one thing I noted - it is more old school and could use a renovation to a proper rain shower. Secondly, a minor point - I noticed that on our first stay this trip we received a nice welcome plate of fruit and prosecco. But on our second stay a week later when returning to Rome for a few days before flying out, we didn't receive anything. I understand that the trip was almost over, but it would have been a nice touch on the way out too.

Perfect stay, rooms are fabulous and location is 10/10

Pros: The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating for our young family. The rooms were large and well designed. The beds were comfortable and we all slept fantastic while there. The concierge helped us make dinner reservations and set up breakfast at their sister hotel which was excellent.

Cons: I would have loved if we could have had a larger breakfast onsite at the hotel. We were able to eat a continental breakfast in our room but it would have been really lovely to have had a separate breakfast spot on site.

Stylish, comfortable suite in a wonderful location.

Pros: Fantastic location, very close to the Colosseum. The suite was very stylishly decorated, with plenty of space and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The welcome bottle of Prosecco was a wonderful surprise and the Ortigia bathroom amenities were lovely.

Cons: The bathroom was quite small, however it was functional and clean with good water pressure in the shower

Pros: Very well located. Good size for a family of 3. Professional and helpful staff.

On my favorites list!

Pros: The location was quiet but very close to the colosseum and the metro station. The suite was very generous in size with good coffee making and small refrigerator facilities, and well furnished. This hotel definitely deserves a return visit.

Cons: The breakfast was small with yogurt and packaged croissant. No cooked food, even a boiled egg was available. I think that could be improved since the sister hotel is some distance away. However, there are restaurants very close that serve a full breakfast.

Amazing place, facilities, staff, service, location. And value👍

Pros: The quality of the accommodation was excellent, the complimentary drinks, snacks were beyond what you’d expect and was a really nice welcome. The staff were amazingly helpful and welcoming. And of course you can almost touch the coliseum !

Would stay again.

Pros: Excellent location and beautifully presented. Breakfast delivered to the room was very good value for money.

Cons: The bathroom was lacking in surfaces on which to store items. A hotel bar on site would have been nice.

Fabulous place to stay if you want to be close to all the old city sights. Rooms are nice and big.

Pros: The location of this hotel is fabulous for someone wanting to see all the old city sights in Rome. You can walk to most of them in under 20 min. The Colosseum is literally like 100m away. The rooms are nice and big. Unit has a mini kitchen which was useful as well. Small hotel. nice and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Coming around often to see if we needed anything. Even soft drinks in the mini-bar were included.

Cons: Bathroom was a little small for such a big room. Would have been nice if it was a bit bigger. But we did manage.

Couldn’t be better, just perfect
