Our Home in Rome - Via Machiavelli

Pros: The location was very good - close to the metro and walking distance to some sights/shopping centres. The apartment had a welcoming and homely feel and the hosts provided access information well in advance to make entry easy for us.

Pros: Great for families! Well equpped kitchen and a comfy couch for when kids are too tired to go out for dinner. Park with a little playground nearby. Washing machine will save you quite a bit of luggage...

Very central location, large apartment with good facilities, and super helpful hosts

Pros: The location was really central, and allowed us to walk or take short metro rides to all the major sites we wanted to visit. The whole apartment is very spacious for European standards, and had great facilities (e.g. dishwasher, washing machine and aircon!). The hosts were amazing. We had a late flight on the last day, and upon request, they allowed us to check out late so we could shower before going to the airport after spending another day of getting sweaty in the Rome summer heat - very considerate of them. Very happy with our stay

Great Room to Stay, if you dont mind with the room heater & water heater

Pros: (i) Spacious Room (ii) Full Kitchen Equipment, easier for cooking (iii) Near to the MRT station. Walkable convenience shops nearby (iv) Fast Response from Host (v) Great Decoration and View (vi) Have Elevator

Cons: (i) Not enough heater in the room (ii) Bathroom water heater does not function well which it would be either Super Cold or Super Hot and the Hot water does not sustain long enough for even one person bath

A great place from which to experience Rome, with transport and amenities a short walk away.

Pros: Location, privacy, felt very secure, felt spacious

Cons: Needs a grabrail on the bath/shower

We had a very comfortable stay.

Pros: The apartment was well eqipped with all necessary appliances. The apartment was spacious. The owner provided lots of everyday necessities such as coffee, tea, cooking supplies etc. The room was quiet and the lift worked well.

Cons: Hot water pressure in the shower was very low and adjustment for cold and hot was tricky. The room was a little cold at times. Access instructions were out of date. Instructions on how to use the appliances were non existent.

Fantastic few days.

Pros: Spacious, comfortable, great location, peaceful. Facilities great. Little map a nice touch.

Cons: Pillows too hard

Great Stay at Home Machiavelli. Claus was really helpful and left many adresses of the area

Pros: Very close of the historical Rome 10 mn away from Colosseum And close to many nice restaurants and coffee shops

Remarkable Roman experience in a dream apartment at a great location

Pros: To call this apartment remarkable would be an understatement. It is truly one of a kind. The hosts, Roberta & Claus - are the most gracious, engaging and accommodating people - absolute joy to deal with. Location in a fairly quiet street near the park, famous (Roscioli bakery next street), supermarket (Conad) and public transport is an absolute jackpot. Easy walk to a whole variety of transport options to the center, which is less than 20 minutes away.

Perfect location, big apartment with everything you need!

Pros: The location!!!! Perfect short walk to the colosseum. Spacious rooms and living area, lift which is a MUST when you have heavy suitcases. Nice collection of books and great washing and cooking facilities! Children’s playground at the end of the block, close to metro and lots of Ubers close by, we were really happy with our stay in Rome!

Cons: The bathroom / toilet was not the best and the front door key is tricky however this didn’t impact our stay we had a great time!
