Good hotel

Pros: Great-sized spotlessly clean room. Good location opposite the Opera House. Within 10 minutes walk to the main railway station and metro. Friendly receptionists.

Cons: Breakfast was mediocre but sufficient.

Comfortable Stay

Pros: Front staff were brilliant , friendly, helpful and knowledgeable

Cons: My only slight negative comment, whilst I appreciate I am a solo visitor, I would have much preferred a double bed rather than the single bed provided

Nice hotel in the city center with great service and staff on 1

Pros: Newly renovated hotel, in the center near the Republic and the Opera, but quiet. In the morning, the possibility to store luggage at the reception and access to the toilet - important for travelers who arrive in Rome early in the morning. Receptionist Anna was great, provided a map and information, everyone was helpful and always smiling. Breakfast from 7:30 - food OK. Hotel Maximus was a SURPRISE for us in the center of Rome, we felt welcome! Thank you :)

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for many years

Pros: The hotel was beautifully appointed - decor, rooms, facilities. - and spotlessly clean Every member of staff had a smile, spoke in a friendly and courteous manner and made our stay a warm and welcoming experience The breakfasts were great - plenty of variety, fresh fruit, hot and cold choices, lovely atmosphere

Pros: Lovely place to stay. Staff are amazing the location is perfect. We would definitely recommend it

Pros: Nice room clean and tidy. Roof terrace was a nice addition.

Cons: Breakfast selection could be improved and very busy room both days we had breakfast at the hotel.

Spacious room, has a lift, wholesome breakfast, friendly staffs

Pros: Location is good, quite a lot of shop lots, cafes nearby. We went in the winter so we walked to all the attractions from hotel, mostly within 25mins. Breakfast is wholesome for a 3-star hotel. We missed it very much when we stayed in other places in other cities 😂

Cons: The seats in the breakfast place are quite limited, we recommend to start your day early!

Modern, quiet, and great staff

Pros: The hotel left a very pleasant impression. Great location — 10 minutes on foot from the station and the metro, with a couple of supermarkets nearby. It was renovated a few years ago: everything is clean and modern, and the room was quiet (the hotel is opposite a theater, on a small quiet street). The staff deserves a special mention — everyone is incredibly kind and speaks excellent English. There is a kettle and a minibar in the room. Wi-Fi worked well. On the ground floor, there is a small garden where you can sit in the summer. A good choice of pastries for breakfast, with omelets, ham, vegetables, and fruits.

Cons: The compact size of the double room and the absence of a shelf in the bathroom (not very convenient to arrange personal belongings).

Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful, hotel was spotless.

Cons: The mattress was very hard.

Pros: Great location, staff helpful and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and shower was amazing.

Cons: We would have liked a more comfortable and relaxing bar area.
