Hotel Fori Imperiali

Pros: Right after check‑in, the lovely beautiful receptionist gave me a map of Rome with recommended places to visit and even drew a route. The room was small but clean and cozy. The location is just near from the Colosseum. When I was leaving, the other beautiful receptionist kindly arranged a taxi to the airport for me. I don´t remember names, but many thanks to both beautiful brunettes at the reception! :-)

Lovely stay but some more attention to detail needed

Pros: Lovely location, staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable looked nice. Liked little touches such as automatic curtain closing, use of marble throughout felt nice. Breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Comfortable bed!

Cons: There were a few things but they didn’t spoil our stay, just things we noticed. The room was very small and cramped with very limited space for luggage. The room looks freshly decorated but it looked really rushed with painting done very badly (all over the window frames, tiles in bathroom etc) our tap in the sink was also coming apart. There was no way to have low level light in the bathroom as it was all on one switch. The room was very hot and couldn’t be turned below 18 degrees. We turned it off and opened the window but as we were over a courtyard there was a strong smell of rubbish and sewage.

Pros: Excellent location and good rooms. Staff was very helpful.

Cons: Breakfast was not good enough. Bread was poor and cooked breakfast very limited and cold. No fresh fruit and even ham was missing on some days.

Pros: Location is very central. Staff were all very friendly & happy to help.

Cons: AC wasnt working due to it being winter, reception said they woukd turn heating off but still warmer then I would have liked.

Pros: A really lovely small hotel in a quiet side street a stone's throw away from the Colosseum. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful - they made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay special. The room had everything we needed and very clean and comfortable. Some really great restaurants very close by. A metro station is close by, it is also within 30 minutes to walk to most monuments and the train station. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of the city - and great value for money too!

Pros: This is an excellent hotel that is located perfectly in the centre of Rome just a couple of minutes walk from the Colosseum/Roman Forum and Metro Lines B and C. The room was a good size, clean and with more or less everything you would expect from a good 3* hotel. It had great wifi, a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. There are plenty of bars/cafes/restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel, but the hotel itself is on a relatively quiet street (by Rome standards), so there was very little outside noise. It can be difficult finding good value hotels in this part of the city, but this one really exceeded my expectations and I will be happy to stay here again for future visits!

Cons: Very little to complain about ... the only slight issue was that the fridge in my room didn't seem to come on with the electricity (or did not get cold if it was coming on). This was not a problem for my visit, given that it was mid-winter, but I couldn't tell if this was by malfunction or design.

Great location and stay

Pros: The staff was amazing specially Barbara from the reception: room is tidy and organized. Amazing location

Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful especially Barbara she made our stay extra pleasant and went above and beyond when she heard i wasnt well. The rest of the staff was very helpful when we didn't know where the places were, the hotel came with a tour so that was a bonus . We were over and above very very happy

It was a great stay and we will definitely come back

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel, extremely nice staff and attentive, room is nice, clean and comfortable, good breakfast and it’s positioned perfectly to walk everywhere. We would like to thank for this amazing and wonderful stay!
