Easy, clean, reliable

Pros: The staff were really helpful and friendly, even providing restaurant recommendations. We had a late check in and it was so easy and smooth, completely stress free. The room was really clean as well and the location is phenomenal, a two minute walk to the colosseum!

Location was excellent, around the corner from colosseum, metro near by, restaurants were very good and at our doorstep

Pros: Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable. Lovely staff, happy to make recommendations and book restaurants.

Cons: Communal coffee-making station in the lobby. Better to have own kettle etc in your room. No hairdryer.

Pros: Hotel is close to the train station and many attractions. Clean. You can make tea and coffee. Helpful staff.

Cons: The view from the window is the neighboring wall, so there is never any daylight in the room. The hotel returned the reserved funds only a week later.

Fabulous location

Pros: The location of Hotel Paba is excellent. It is an easy to walk to many of Rome's sites and it is in an area with numerous restaurants and conveniences. The reception staff were very helpful, particularly Lisa. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat and they held onto our luggage when we checked out. The staff also communicated efficiently through What'sApp. We stayed on two occasions. The first room was incredibly spacious and quiet. We had booked a double, but I believe we were given an upgrade. Thank you! The air-conditioning was excellent in the Summer heat. There was a snack area in the lobby outside the rooms with complimentary tea and coffee.

Cons: On our second visit, we stayed in the economy double room. It was very small for a couple with a fair bit of luggage and close to the entrance, so a bit noisy as other guests came and went. We were a bit wary of the lift as it was quirky, old and tiny and we tended to use the stairs. FYI reception is an office on the ground floor and the Hotel Paba guest rooms are on floors well above. It is a shared building with other accommodation.
