A very welcome break

Pros: Staff were very friendly. Rooms were ready early. Very centrally located.

Cons: There was no milk provided in the rooms to have tea or coffee.

Pros: Great location, close to a great coffee shop, the colleseum, and Rome centtal in general. We were here in late february and the room was warm, didnt need AC on, bed was comfy, it was so quiet, no street noise at all, shower always had hot water.

Cons: Some more english tv channels would be nice, but i get it, were in Italy.

We will be back to Rome and Duca d’ Alba Hotel! Just perfect.

Pros: A couple over from Ireland for a long weekend. First time in Rome, this hotel was perfect. Stayed in lots of hotels from 3* to 5* and I have to say the staff were the nicest I’ve come across. They were all so helpful, polite and so welcoming. The hotel itself was the perfect location central, rooms and bathroom were spotless. The shower was the Best! Beds were comfortable. Irish bar across from hotel handy for the Six Nations Rugby!!!

Cons: Only nit picking but maybe the artwork on the wall in the bedroom!!!

Lovely staff, hotel, and location - recommend

Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty of local amenities within a short walking distance, and the colosseum is only around a 10min walk. Staff were always friendly and chatty, and the room and service were all as expected. As is always the case in most major cities now, do budget for a city tax (per person, per night at around 7 Euro), which I believe the hotel has no control over. Exterior noise (as with any central city location) was subdued with double windows blocking most of it out. Definity worth a consideration if visiting Rome

Cons: It's a really small point worth noting of any 4* hotel; paper cups and instant coffee/milk. Really small point for an otherwise great experience and I wouldn't let this put anyone off staying here.

Wonderful break at a great hotel

Pros: Hotel was lovely and clean . The location was great

Cons: The food at breakfast was very poor and not worth The money

Pros: Location was exceptional Great choice of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Metro station even closer.

Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities could be improved by providing better cups rather than paper and the supply of milk.

Good option for the hôtel close to Colosseum

Pros: The hotel is very well placed to visit the center of Rome and eat out, however the windows are not well isolated and all the activity in the street is very well heard. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom might need some refreshment. The breakfast was poor, but there are a lot of cafés in 2 min walk to replace it.

Cons: Windows are not enough isolated. May be too hot in the room, too much heating. Breakfast is poor.

Pros: The location was excellent, just a two-minute walk from the metro, centrally located yet well soundproofed. The room was also excellent. We asked to change rooms because the third bed was not comfortable, and they gave us another room that was really good. The cleaning service was great, and the room was always in good condition. The staff were very kind and helped us with our bags.

Cons: The heating was set too high, making the room excessively hot, although it was centrally controlled.

Great location, great stay, but bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper

Pros: The location is great. The colosseum is a short walk away. The neighbourhood is safe and full of great bars and restaurants. The room is good. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was easy to adjust. The bathroom was great. Housekeeping were fantastic.

Cons: The room wasn’t very quiet. We could hear our neighbour’s hushed conversations overnight, people walking upstairs, every movement of the people in the room above us.

Stay here!

Pros: Old world charms at its best! A classic hotel with a 24hr reception and concierge service, superb attention from everyone there, a 5 stars stay at a bargain price. Always a smile and hello and friendly interactions. Our check in dude was so funny and welcoming, he is a gem! Our room was clean, spacious and welcoming, they provide daily housekeeping and towel change. Last but not least, shower caps! Seriously I haven't seen these gems for a very long time! The Monti area is hip and full of places to eat and drink, this hotel is close to everything within walking distance, you can't go wrong with this one. If we return, we'll stay here for sure!
