Hotel Ascot

Pros: Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. Ideally located just a few minutes from the main Termini train station, it makes getting around the city easy, with plenty of nearby restaurants to enjoy after a busy day exploring Rome. The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a private ensuite bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to get you going, with particularly good coffee to start the day.

Fantastic place to stay, I really suggest considering this place for your trip to Rome.

Pros: The location was fantastic, located near Termini, therefore it has transport links to not just anywhere in Rome, but most places in Italy. This is also super helpful for transport links to / from the nearby airports too. The room was a good size, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable, I was also very impressed by the staff, which were always really friendly and welcoming, especially the lady who checked us in who made us feel so welcomed. The breakfast was good, I didn't go into it expecting much as this hotel was more on the budget side, but, I thoroughly enjoyed the choice of pastries, biscuits, juices, breads, cheese and deli meats. Upon entering the breakfast there was a lovely lady who offered to make tea or coffee or cappucino, which was all fantastic. Overall, the hotel had a lovely family-run feel, made us feel really at home, and was in a really good location too, I highly recommend staying here for your visit.

Cons: If I really had to complain about something, the shower head was a bit annoying to use, as it took a bit of effort to fix it in place - this didn't really hinder my experience though.

Pros: The location was so convenience, walkable to Termini station and Republica Metro Station. It was clean and comfort. The staffs were also nice. Bonus, you can keep the luggage over the check out time without extra fee.

Pros: Excellent location. Nice small touches like a corkscrew in the room and slippers. Very friendly, family hotel.

Pros: Great location! Just 5 minutes walk away to the Rome Termini. If you fun walking, you can also go by walking to the tourist attractions except going to Vatican but buses and train stations are very accessible. Staff if very accommodating and smiling. As we travel as a family with 1year old daughter, we are very happy.

Very good, cosy place

Pros: Very good location - Termini station is nearby, main touristic attractions are not far away. Two metro stations are also near Room is very cosy, there are tea and teapot in the room. Breakfast is ok, everything is good and enough I think it is a very good hotel to stay in Rome

Small hotel with spacious rooms near Termini

Pros: The hotel is rather small but it has everything that is needed. My room was quite spacious and had a private bathroom. There were some coffee/tea making accessories and a bottle of water in the mini fridge (all free of charge). The breakfast had a limited offer but was tasty and a hot beverage was served with it as well. The staff was nice and helpful.

Cons: In my room there was a leak in the toilet tank which caused constant water flow into the bowl (not a big leak but you could hear it in the room). This has not bothered me too much but probably should be dealt with by the staff. I am not a fan of charging extra for checking in after 9 pm because when you're traveling you can easily have a delay and not make it on time. This has not happened to me but it would affect my choice of place to stay if I planned on arriving in the evening.
