Short trip to Rome

Pros: I enjoyed my time at JO&JOE, the place had a great feel about it, the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good, they had a good variety of food to choose from, the dinner was also very nice. It was a little bit pricey for a hostel but then again, it is in the centre of the city. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Pros: Great buzz very very helpful staff place felt safe

Cons: Maybe tuck in sheets for the bunk beds as difficult to make with regular sheets

Perfect place in Rome, in the best location.

Pros: Perfect location and was able to walk everywhere. Nice and quiet, safe area for a female solo traveller and security on the door at night. Clean rooms with nice shower and separate toilet. Very modern and aesthetic hostel. Good underbed storage.

Cons: Top bunk was very squeaky, but was not a major issue.

Excellent location, facilities and staff

Pros: Excellent facilities, comes with a bar and a restaurant. Friendly people.

Cons: The beds have a faux leather protector which makes a lot more noise than I would like to. But manageable.

Pros: Lovely staff and very close to main spots. Can recommend staying there.

Cons: The beds are very loud when you move in them they are in general comfy, but you definitely need air plugs if you have a light sleep. Other than that it was very quiet. :)

All good, I totally recommend it!

Pros: Close to the city centre (15min to Trevi fountain and 20min to the Colosseum). There is a kitchen with microwave and fridge that you can use.

Cons: All good. It’s just that it would be nice to have the hairdryer in the same room, instead of having to request that at the reception every time you want to use it.

Pros: Perfect location! Really great space with lots to enjoy. Staff are really lovely and welcoming. There are charging ports for each bed and the storage lockers in the room are quite spacious (just remember to bring your own lock). The additional storage locker room is quite reasonably priced if you want to store baggage before/after checking in/out. Breakfast is nice with lots of options (croissants, cakes, cereals, coffee etc.).

Cons: I had a bottom bunk so I didn’t have this problem but I did notice that if you’re on the top bunk there’s no way to block out the lights. Bottom bunks have curtains and are nice and dark so just bear that in mind.

Pros: Really great place to stay for solo travelling round Rome. Super safe and great location! The bar area is so good for making friends. Really enjoyed!

Pros: The staff were truly so nice and friendly. I arrived in the middle of the night and they were happy to help and chat. Everyone was very kind and it made me feel relaxed and welcome. Location: Great location if you want to be close to major tourist attractions like the Trevi Fountain, all within a short walking distance. There are many shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby, and a mini market right in front of the building which was very convenient. Room: I stayed in a female 6-bed room and it was very spacious. I could easily fit my luggage and still had space. I really liked that the beds had curtains which gave good privacy. Facilities: Nice amenities including a comfortable lounge and a cool outdoor area to relax. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it.

Cons: The only downside is that the breakfast had very limited vegetarian options, and most of the meat was pork. If you follow a halal diet, the choices are quite limited.
