Maison Colosseo (Via dei Querceti 24)

Loved it!

Pros: Very good location, next to restaurants and the metro and central. Super clean and great attention to detail, the place is very well taken care of. The host is very nice. I loved the check in/ check out system.

Cons: It was a little hard to find in the first instance, but good communication from the host to get in once located

Central location without luxury

Pros: Great stay for a Rome city trip. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Room service was perfect with daily refill. The standard matches an Italian guesthouse. It has all you need from fridge to WiFi and coffee.

Cons: If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, as trash car can come at unholy times. Some things don’t work perfect, e.g. coffee machine and the shower has very weak warm water stream. The breakfast is typical Italian, it’s worth to checkout nearby cafes anyway.

Pros: Excellent location. 10-15min train station. Metro. Near the Colosseum, but very quite and peaceful arrea.

Pros: The location was good. I was able to walk everywhere- within 10-60 minutes. There were several restaurants, shops close by. Dario was a great source of information about things to do and see.

Cons: The bed that I had wasn't very comfortable and you could really hear other people coming and going through the common area.

Pros: The location is great. Spacious room with large windows, comfortable bed, clean bedding and towels. There is an opportunity to make coffee and tea. The house is located in a quiet area. Near the Colosseum, many cafes, a supermarket. The hospitable host Dario is always ready to help.

Pros: Maison Colosseo is truly one of the best places to stay in Rome. It’s located just a five-minute walk from the Colosseum and around ten minutes from the nearest metro station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s close to all the main attractions. The owner, Dario, is exceptionally kind and helpful. He welcomed us with a warm smile, offered great tips on what to see and where to eat, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. I’ve rarely met such a friendly and attentive host. When I return to Rome, I’ll definitely be staying at Maison Colosseo again. And I’ll be recommending it to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful city.
