Pros: Personal contact with the owners. Breakfast amazing!

Cons: It's a small place so you hear a bit more what's happening but overall slept really well!

I definitely recommend Lory House for a stay in the Vatican and Rome.

Pros: It was a good choice. The location was great. The room was all right. Stefano was very friendly and helpful, a reliable person.

Pros: The room was very modern and comfortable. We did borrow a kettle, cups and glasses as there was nothing in the room, but appreciated that they were available. The location was great as 2min walk from metro station and dozens of good restaurants The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. We did have issues with the motion-sensor light in the bathroom not sensing us but used the light above the sink as a back up. There was so much storage I the room. Which was good to store all bags and clothes. Breakfast and staff were great. Friendly and lots of variety for a small place.

Great place to stay for a short or longer stay to bisit Vatican or city center.

Very comfortable stay right next to Vatican City!

Pros: The location of the hotel was brilliant, a short 2-minute walk to the metro station and less than 1km to the Vatican City. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating, warmly greeting as soon as I arrived and every morning at the breakfast (which was also really nice!). The room was also great, my bed was comfy and everything was clean and tidy. You could hear the bells from the Vatican easily inside, but I didn't personally mind this at all. The window outside from my room showed a gorgeous inner courtyard, which was entirely quiet even though just outside of it there was a very busy pedestrian road. I would very happily book a room once again, if I ever come back to Rome!

Cons: I didn't really find any fault with anything! The water from the shower needed to run for a little bit before it was hot, but other than that everything was brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, even if I was out most of the time!

Fabulous location with friendly staff.

Pros: Stefano was great communicating ahead of my arrival. The location of the accommodation is super central and close to the Metro to easily get around Rome. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and Stefano was full of helpful tips and recommendations. He also makes a mean coffee!

Pros: Super friendly staff. Flexible on check in and out plus luggage storage. Helpful with all ‘things’ to arrange in Rome and ongoing transport options. Loved walking in off the street into a cool and calm courtyard. Great breakfast. Great communication and remote check in info.

Great place, great location and friendly staff. We would definitely return!

Pros: Stefano was very helpful, answered all our questions. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He had our coffee ready and always with a smile. He even called us a cab when we were leaving and came with us to make sure we were safely on our way.

Cons: We didn’t like all the road noise we heard when we chose to keep the window open. That was the only negative thing we experienced.

Pros: The staff was really accomodating and approachable.
