Torlonia Rooms

Very nice stay, highly recommended.

Pros: Very neat and clean apartament. Unusual model to have your own private room and your own private bathroom, but with common corridor between rooms and bathrooms, which worked just fine for us. The owner was a very kind person, ready to help in anything, sending us all important information about restaurants and means of transport already before arrival. The place is very close to the metro station, where from you can travel in 15 minutes to the most important attractions like Spanish Stairs etc. The only small thing we were missing were glass tea cups and teaspoons. The water boiler was there, some tea and a very good cofee too. Login and logout were very easy. I can only highly recommend this place.

Cons: All was fine.

Pros: Very nice room with much unexpected but very useful equipment, e.g. bathrobes, multi purpose phone charger on the bed or an umbrella for the rainy days.

Cons: Even with closed doors, noises from other rooms are quite loud. But that's more or less the charm of the old beautiful house.

Pros: Everything was as expected. Stefano is a warm and nice person. He sent us all the informations so we found the location very easy. The apartment is close to subway station and bus station. We had a fridge in the room with some free drinks (and also received free snacks). The area is very beautiful and quiet ( you can see my morning view in the photo).

Pros: Stefano was realy pleasant host,room was very clean and comfortable,he left us some drinks in the fridge. It is very near metro station.

Quiet, safe haven away from the tourists

Pros: Our host Stefano was very responsive and friendly. He lent my partner his weights:) very kind. The place is away from the main tourist attractions but easily reached by three different public systems - metro, bus and tram. Just tap in with credit card - inexpensive. All transport leads to Rome. Our room was newly renovated inside a very old building. Comfy bed. A lovely old arty Rome feel - that we loved. Coffee machine and snacks were a welcome touch. The restaurant recommendations were great - loved the old family restaurant around the corner and the cafe with deserts to die for. So nice to eat with the locals at local prices. We got the hang of the locks and the two flights of steps weren’t an issue (we travel light). Good to have the security and see some of the real Roma.

Cons: Not really an issue and it was expected that we shared a hallway to our bathroom with the people in the room next door. Very grateful for the lovely robes provided as we travel light. We are old so we are up and down all night to the bathroom. We didn’t bump into anyone. Perfect inexpensive place for 2 couples travelling together or a family also.

Pros: Clean. Has all amenities you would like to get when renting a room (such as shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea, plenty of towels...).

Cons: Everything was as expected.

Pros: Everything is great - communication, apartment, location, nearby metro and buses. I recommend.

Great stay in a quite, beautiful and central apartment

Pros: Stefano is an amazing, host, kind and cooperative. the room was large, clean and comfortable, as well as well designed and decorated.

Cons: A bottle opener is a must in every room in Italy ;)

The best stay one can have!

Pros: The host was super friendly and helpful about advising us things to see. The apartment was great! It was beautiful, clean and quiet. You have your own bathroom. The attention to detail is great: we had umbrellas, bath robes, snacks etc. The apartment is 5 mins of walking away from metro and in 3 stations you can be at the Colosseum. Highly recommended!
